제 영혼이 밤에 주님을 사모합니다. 제 마음이 주님을 간절하게 찾습니다. 주님께서 땅을 심판하실 때에, 세상에 사는 사람들이 비로소 의가 무엇인지 배우게 될 것입니다.
오 하나님, 주께서 제 편이 되심을 오늘도 강하고 생생하게 느끼게 하여 주옵소서.
여럿이 함께 있을 때든지 혼자 있을 때든지, 일을 할 때든지 쉴 때든지, 내리막길에 있을 때든지 오르막길에 있을 때든지, 제가 늘 주께서 동행하시는 임재를 알게 하여 주옵소서.
오 하나님, 주께서 은혜를 베푸시어 주님이 오실 수 없는 곳이면 어디든 가지 않게 하시고, 주님과의 관계가 멀어질 어떤 사귐도 구하지 않게 하옵소서.
주께서 은혜를 베푸시어 주님과의 교제를 방해하는 생각은 조금이라도 제 맘속에 들어가지 않게 하시고, 주님께 없는 말은 단 한마디도 제 입에서 흘러나오지 않게 하옵소서.
그리하여 제 용기는 더 굳어지고, 제 마음은 평온케 하옵소서.
저는 미끄러지더라도 주께서는 넘어지지 않으심을 제가 기억할 때 저는 좀 더 느릿느릿 걸을 수 있습니다.
열방의 소원이 되시는 하나님, 주님의 사랑과 권능을 알 때 땅의 모든 백성이 구원을 받는 줄 믿사오니, 모든 사람이 주님을 온 땅의 주인으로 인정할 날이 속히 오게 하소서.
우리의 지상의 사회가 그리스도의 왕국이 되는 날이 속히 오게 하소서.
주님의 임재와 주님의 강한 손을 소수의 지혜롭고 용기 있는 이들뿐 아니라 법정이나 관청이나, 일터나 시장이나, 도시나 들판에서도 볼 수 있는 날이 속히 오게 하소서.
제 스스로 할 수 있는 일이 무엇이든, 오 하나님, 이 날을 시작할 수 있도록 은혜를 베풀어 주옵소서.
예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early; for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Give me, God, this day a strong and vivid sense that You are by my side. In time with others and time alone, in business and leisure, in my sitting down and in my rising up, may I ever be aware of Your accompanying presence. By Your grace, God, I will go nowhere this day where You cannot come, nor court any companionship that would rob me of Yours. By Your grace I will let no thought enter my heart that might interfere with my communion with You, nor let any word come from my mouth that is not meant for Your ear. So shall my courage be firm and my heart be at peace.

God, You who are the Desire of all nations, in the knowledge of whose love and power there is salvation for all the peoples of the earth, I ask You to quickly bring the day when all men shall acknowledge You as Lord over all. Quicken the day when our earthly society shall become the kingdom of Christ. Hasten the day when Your presence and the strong hand of Your purpose shall be found not only in the hearts of a few wise and brave men but throughout the whole land, in court and council chamber, in workshop and marketplace, in the city and in the fields. And whatever I myself can do, give me grace this day to begin; through Jesus Christ. Amen.

하나님, 이 날도 당신이 내 곁에 계시다는 강하고도 생생한 의식을 주시옵소서. 사람들 사이에 있거나 홀로 있을 때, 일할 때나 쉴 때, 앉을 때나 일어설 때, 언제나 내가 당신의 함께하시는 임재를 인식할 수 있게 해 주시옵소서. 하나님, 은혜를 베푸셔서 당신이 가시지 않는 곳에는 나도 가지 않게 하시고 당신을 빼앗아가는 어떠한 사귐도 하지 않게 하소서. 당신의 은혜로 당신과의 교제를 방해하는 생각이 내 마음에 들어오지 않게 하시고, 당신이 들으실 말이 아니라면 내 입에서 나오지 않게 하소서. 그리하여 나의 용기가 더 강하여지고 내 마음이 평안케 하소서.

모든 나라의 갈망이신 하나님, 이 땅의 모든 백성에게 구원이 있게 하신 당신의 사랑과 능력의 지식으로 간구하오니, 모든 사람들이 당신을 주님으로 인정하는 날이 속히 오게 하소서. 이 지상의 사회가 그리스도의 왕국이 될 날이 속히 오게 하소서. 당신의 임재와 목적을 이루시는 강한 손이 소수의 지혜롭고 용감한 사람들의 마음속에서만이 아니라 넓은 세상에서, 법정과 의회와 일터와 시장에서, 도시와 농촌에서 발견될 날이 속히 오게 하소서. 오늘도 은혜를 주셔서 내가 행할 수 있는 모든 것들을 시작하게 하옵소서. 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도하옵나이다. 아멘.
