10월 16일 스펄전 아침묵상 “예수께서 가라사대 와서 조반을 먹으라 하시니”[요한복음 21장 12절]

"Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine" (John 21: 12).

In these words, the believer is invited to a holy nearness to Jesus.  "Come and dine," implies the same table and the same meat.  Sometimes it means to sit side by side and lean our head on the Savior's bosom.  "Come and dine" gives us a vision of union with Jesus.  Oh, what union this is!  It is a depth which reason cannot fathom.  "He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him" (John 6: 56).  It is also an invitation to enjoy fellowship with the saints.  Christians may differ on a variety of points, but they have all one spiritual appetite.  If we cannot all feel alike, we can all feed alike on the bread of life sent down from heaven.  At the table of fellowship with Jesus, we are one bread and one cup.  Get nearer to Jesus, and you will find yourself linked more and more in spirit to all who are, like yourself, supported by the same heavenly manna.  If we were closer to Jesus, we would be closer to one another.  We likewise see in thesse words the cource of strength for every Christian.  To look at Christ is to live, but for strength to serve Him you must "come and dine."  We labor under much unnecessary weakness on account of neglecting this precept of the Master.  We should feed on the marrow and fatness of the Word that we may accumulate strength therein and urge every power to its full tension in the Master's service.  Thus, then, if you desire nearness to Jesus, union with Jesus, love for His people, and strength from Jesus, "come and dine" with Him by faith.

제목 : 와서 먹으라

요절 : "예수께서 가라사대 와서 조반을 먹으라 하시니 제자들이 주신 줄 아는 고로 당신이 누구냐 감히 묻는 자가 없더라"(요21:12)

이 말씀을 보면, 성도는 예수님으로부터 주님께로 갈 수 있는 거룩한 접근을 초대(허락)받고 있습니다.

"와서 먹으라"라는 말씀은 주님과 같은 식탁에서 주님과 같은 식사를 한다는 뜻입니다. 때로는 주님과 나란히 앉아 우리의 머리를(요한 같이) 주님의 가슴에 기대는 것을 의미합니다.  "와서 조반을 먹으라"는 말씀은 우리에게 예수님과의 연합의 비존(vision)을 줍니다. 오, 이것은 얼마나 놀라운 연합입니까! 이것은 인간의 이성(理性)이 측정할 수 없는 깊은 연합입니다.

"내 살을 먹고 내 피를 마시는 자는 내 안에 거하고 나도 그 안에 거한다."(요6:56) 이것은 또한 성도들과의 교제를 즐기라는 초대이기도 합니다. 그리스도인들은 여러 가지 점에서 서로 다를 수 있지만, 그들은 모두 하나의 영적식욕(食慾)을 갖고 있습니다. 우리가 모두 똑 같은 영적식욕을 느낄 수는 없겠지만, 우리는 모두 하늘에서 내려온 생명의 떡을 똑 같이 먹을 수 있습니다. 예수님과 교제를 나누는 식탁에서 같은 떡을 떼며 같은 잔을 마십니다. 그대는 예수님께 더 가까이 가십시오. 그러면 그대 자신과 같이 같은 하나님의 만나를 먹는(부양되는) 모든 성도들과 영적으로 그대 자신이  더욱 더 가까이 연결되어 간다는 사실을 발견할 것입니다. 만일 우리가 예수님과 더 가까워지려면,  우리도 서로 더 가까워져야 할 것입니다. 또 우리는 오늘의 이 말씀 속에서 모든 그리스도인을 위한 힘의 원천을 볼 수 있습니다.

그리스도를 바라보는 것이 사는 것입니다. 그러나 그리스도를 섬길 수 있는 힘을 얻자면(얻기 위해서는) 그대는 반드시 "와서 먹어야"합니다.  우리는 주님의 이 교훈(권고)을 무시하기 때문에 불필요한(쓸데없는) 연약함 속에서 헛수고를 하게 됩니다. 우리는 우리 안에 힘을 축적하고 그 모든 힘을 주님을 섬기는 일에 전력투구하기 위하여 말씀(복음)의 정수(골수)와 기름을 먹고 살아야 합니다. 

그러므로 이렇게 그대가 예수님께 더 가까이 하는 것, 예수님과의 연합, 그의 백성에 대한 사랑, 그리고 예수님으로부터 오는 힘을 소원한다면, 그대는 믿음으로 주님께 "와서 주님과 함께 조반을 먹으십시오."(참고 : 요21:12)
