1See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice.
1הֵן לְצֶדֶק יִמְלָךְ־מֶלֶךְ וּלְשָׂרִים לְמִשְׁפָּט יָשֹׂרוּ׃
2Each man will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.
2וְהָיָה־אִישׁ כְּמַחֲבֵא־רוּחַ וְסֵתֶר זָרֶם כְּפַלְגֵי־מַיִם בְּצָיֹון כְּצֵל סֶלַע־כָּבֵד בְּאֶרֶץ עֲיֵפָה׃
3Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.
3וְלֹא תִשְׁעֶינָה עֵינֵי רֹאִים וְאָזְנֵי שֹׁמְעִים תִּקְשַׁבְנָה׃
4The mind of the rash will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will be fluent and clear.
4וּלְבַב נִמְהָרִים יָבִין לָדָעַת וּלְשֹׁון עִלְּגִים תְּמַהֵר לְדַבֵּר צָחֹות׃
5No longer will the fool be called noble nor the scoundrel be highly respected.
5לֹא־יִקָּרֵא עֹוד לְנָבָל נָדִיב וּלְכִילַי לֹא יֵאָמֵר שֹׁועַ׃
6For the fool speaks folly, his mind is busy with evil: He practices ungodliness and spreads error concerning the LORD; the hungry he leaves empty and from the thirsty he withholds water.
6כִּי נָבָל נְבָלָה יְדַבֵּר וְלִבֹּו יַעֲשֶׂה־אָוֶן לַעֲשֹׂות חֹנֶף וּלְדַבֵּר אֶל־יְהוָה תֹּועָה לְהָרִיק נֶפֶשׁ רָעֵב וּמַשְׁקֶה צָמֵא יַחְסִיר׃
7The scoundrel's methods are wicked, he makes up evil schemes to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just.
7וְכֵלַי כֵּלָיו רָעִים הוּא זִמֹּות יָעָץ לְחַבֵּל [כ= עֲנָוִים] [ק= עֲנִיִּים] בְּאִמְרֵי־שֶׁקֶר וּבְדַבֵּר אֶבְיֹון מִשְׁפָּט׃
8But the noble man makes noble plans, and by noble deeds he stands.
8וְנָדִיב נְדִיבֹות יָעָץ וְהוּא עַל־נְדִיבֹות יָקוּם׃ ף
9You women who are so complacent, rise up and listen to me; you daughters who feel secure, hear what I have to say!
9נָשִׁים שַׁאֲנַנֹּות קֹמְנָה שְׁמַעְנָה קֹולִי בָּנֹות בֹּטחֹות הַאְזֵנָּה אִמְרָתִי׃
10In little more than a year you who feel secure will tremble; the grape harvest will fail, and the harvest of fruit will not come.
10יָמִים עַל־שָׁנָה תִּרְגַּזְנָה בֹּטְחֹות כִּי כָּלָה בָצִיר אֹסֶף בְּלִי יָבֹוא׃
11Tremble, you complacent women; shudder, you daughters who feel secure! Strip off your clothes, put sackcloth around your waists.
11חִרְדוּ שַׁאֲנַנֹּות רְגָזָה בֹּטְחֹות פְּשֹׁטָה וְעֹרָה וַחֲגֹורָה עַל־חֲלָצָיִם׃
12Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines
12עַל־שָׁדַיִם סֹפְדִים עַל־שְׂדֵי־חֶמֶד עַל־גֶּפֶן פֹּרִיָּה׃
13and for the land of my people, a land overgrown with thorns and briers-yes, mourn for all houses of merriment and for this city of revelry.
13עַל אַדְמַת עַמִּי קֹוץ שָׁמִיר תַּעֲלֶה כִּי עַל־כָּל־בָּתֵּי מָשֹׂושׂ קִרְיָה עַלִּיזָה׃
14The fortress will be abandoned, the noisy city deserted; citadel and watchtower will become a wasteland forever, the delight of donkeys, a pasture for flocks,
14כִּי־אַרְמֹון נֻטָּשׁ הֲמֹון עִיר עֻזָּב עֹפֶל וָבַחַן הָיָה בְעַד מְעָרֹות עַד־עֹולָם מְשֹׂושׂ פְּרָאִים מִרְעֵה עֲדָרִים׃
15till the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.
15עַד־יֵעָרֶה עָלֵינוּ רוּחַ מִמָּרֹום וְהָיָה מִדְבָּר לַכַּרְמֶל [כ= וְכַרְמֶל] [ק= וְהַכַּרְמֶל] לַיַּעַר יֵחָשֵׁב׃
16Justice will dwell in the desert and righteousness live in the fertile field.
16וְשָׁכַן בַּמִּדְבָּר מִשְׁפָּט וּצְדָקָה בַּכַּרְמֶל תֵּשֵׁב׃
17The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever.
17וְהָיָה מַעֲשֵׂה הַצְּדָקָה שָׁלֹום וַעֲבֹדַת הַצְּדָקָה הַשְׁקֵט וָבֶטַח עַד־עֹולָם׃
18My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.
18וְיָשַׁב עַמִּי בִּנְוֵה שָׁלֹום וּבְמִשְׁכְּנֹות מִבְטַחִים וּבִמְנוּחֹת שַׁאֲנַנֹּות׃
19Though hail flattens the forest and the city is leveled completely,
19וּבָרַד בְּרֶדֶת הַיָּעַר וּבַשִּׁפְלָה תִּשְׁפַּל הָעִיר׃
20how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.
20אַשְׁרֵיכֶם זֹרְעֵי עַל־כָּל־מָיִם מְשַׁלְּחֵי רֶגֶל־הַשֹּׁור וְהַחֲמֹור׃ ס
의로 통치할 왕 [사]32:1 보라 장차 한 왕이 공의로 통치할 것이요 방백들이 정의로 다스릴 것이며 [사]32:2 또 그 사람은 광풍을 피하는 곳, 폭우를 가리는 곳 같을 것이며 마른 땅에 냇물 같을 것이며 곤비한 땅에 큰 바위 그늘 같으리니 [사]32:3 보는 자의 눈이 감기지 아니할 것이요 듣는 자가 귀를 기울일 것이며 [사]32:4 조급한 자의 마음이 지식을 깨닫고 어눌한 자의 혀가 민첩하여 말을 분명히 할 것이라 [사]32:5 어리석은 자를 다시 존귀하다 부르지 아니하겠고 우둔한 자를 다시 존귀한 자라 말하지 아니하리니 [사]32:6 이는 어리석은 자는 어리석은 것을 말하며 그 마음에 불의를 품어 간사를 행하며 패역한 말로 여호와를 거스르며 주린 자의 속을 비게 하며 목마른 자에게서 마실 것을 없어지게 함이며 [사]32:7 악한 자는 그 그릇이 악하여 악한 계획을 세워 거짓말로 가련한 자를 멸하며 가난한 자가 말을 바르게 할지라도 그리함이거니와 [사]32:8 존귀한 자는 존귀한 일을 계획하나니 그는 항상 존귀한 일에 서리라 심판과 회복 [사]32:9 너희 안일한 여인들아 일어나 내 목소리를 들을지어다 너희 염려 없는 딸들아 내 말에 귀를 기울일지어다 [사]32:10 너희 염려 없는 여자들아 일 년 남짓 지나면 너희가 당황하리니 포도 수확이 없으며 열매 거두는 일이 이르지 않을 것임이라 [사]32:11 너희 안일한 여자들아 떨지어다 너희 염려 없는 자들아 당황할지어다 옷을 벗어 몸을 드러내고 베로 허리를 동일지어다 [사]32:12 그들은 좋은 밭으로 인하여 열매 많은 포도나무로 인하여 가슴을 치게 될 것이니라 [사]32:13 내 백성의 땅에 가시와 찔레가 나며 희락의 성읍, 기뻐하는 모든 집에 나리니 [사]32:14 대저 궁전이 폐한 바 되며 인구 많던 성읍이 적막하며 오벨과 망대가 영원히 굴혈이 되며 들나귀가 즐기는 곳과 양 떼의 초장이 되려니와 [사]32:15 마침내 위에서부터 영을 우리에게 부어 주시리니 광야가 아름다운 밭이 되며 아름다운 밭을 숲으로 여기게 되리라 [사]32:16 그 때에 정의가 광야에 거하며 공의가 아름다운 밭에 거하리니 [사]32:17 공의의 열매는 화평이요 공의의 결과는 영원한 평안과 안전이라 [사]32:18 내 백성이 화평한 집과 안전한 거처와 조용히 쉬는 곳에 있으려니와 [사]32:19 그 숲은 우박에 상하고 성읍은 파괴되리라 [사]32:20 모든 물 가에 씨를 뿌리고 소와 나귀를 그리로 모는 너희는 복이 있느니라
