1When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. |
1και οταν ηνοιξεν την σφραγιδα την εβδομην εγενετο σιγη εν τω ουρανω ως ημιωριον |

2And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. |
2και ειδον τους επτα αγγελους οι ενωπιον του θεου εστηκασιν και εδοθησαν αυτοις επτα σαλπιγγες |
|
3Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. |
3και αλλος αγγελος ηλθεν και εσταθη επι του θυσιαστηριου εχων λιβανωτον χρυσουν και εδοθη αυτω θυμιαματα πολλα ινα δωσει ταις προσευχαις των αγιων παντων επι το θυσιαστηριον το χρυσουν το ενωπιον του θρονου |

4The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before God from the angel's hand. |
4και ανεβη ο καπνος των θυμιαματων ταις προσευχαις των αγιων εκ χειρος του αγγελου ενωπιον του θεου |

5Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. |
5και ειληφεν ο αγγελος τον λιβανωτον και εγεμισεν αυτον εκ του πυρος του θυσιαστηριου και εβαλεν εις την γην και εγενοντο βρονται και φωναι και αστραπαι και σεισμος |

6Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. |
6και οι επτα αγγελοι οι εχοντες τας επτα σαλπιγγας ητοιμασαν αυτους ινα σαλπισωσιν |

7The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. |
7και ο πρωτος εσαλπισεν και εγενετο χαλαζα και πυρ μεμιγμενα εν αιματι και εβληθη εις την γην και το τριτον της γης κατεκαη και το τριτον των δενδρων κατεκαη και πας χορτος χλωρος κατεκαη |

8The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, |
8και ο δευτερος αγγελος εσαλπισεν και ως ορος μεγα πυρι καιομενον εβληθη εις την θαλασσαν και εγενετο το τριτον της θαλασσης αιμα |

9a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. |
9και απεθανεν το τριτον των κτισματων των εν τη θαλασση τα εχοντα ψυχας και το τριτον των πλοιων διεφθαρησαν |

10The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water- |
10και ο τριτος αγγελος εσαλπισεν και επεσεν εκ του ουρανου αστηρ μεγας καιομενος ως λαμπας και επεσεν επι το τριτον των ποταμων και επι τας πηγας των υδατων |

11the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter. |
11και το ονομα του αστερος λεγεται ο αψινθος και εγενετο το τριτον των υδατων εις αψινθον και πολλοι των ανθρωπων απεθανον εκ των υδατων οτι επικρανθησαν |

12The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night. |
12και ο τεταρτος αγγελος εσαλπισεν και επληγη το τριτον του ηλιου και το τριτον της σεληνης και το τριτον των αστερων ινα σκοτισθη το τριτον αυτων και η ημερα μη φανη το τριτον αυτης και η νυξ ομοιως |

13As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: 'Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!' |
13και ειδον και ηκουσα ενος αετου πετομενου εν μεσουρανηματι λεγοντος φωνη μεγαλη ουαι ουαι ουαι τους κατοικουντας επι της γης εκ των λοιπων φωνων της σαλπιγγος των τριων αγγελων των μελλοντων σαλπιζειν |
일곱째 봉인과 금 향로 [계]8:1 일곱째 인을 떼실 때에 하늘이 반 시간쯤 고요하더니 [계]8:2 내가 보매 하나님 앞에 일곱 천사가 서 있어 일곱 나팔을 받았더라 [계]8:3 또 다른 천사가 와서 제단 곁에 서서 금 향로를 가지고 많은 향을 받았으니 이는 모든 성도의 기도와 합하여 보좌 앞 금 제단에 드리고자 함이라 [계]8:4 향연이 성도의 기도와 함께 천사의 손으로부터 하나님 앞으로 올라가는지라 [계]8:5 천사가 향로를 가지고 제단의 불을 담아다가 땅에 쏟으매 우레와 음성과 번개와 지진이 나더라 나팔 소리 [계]8:6 일곱 나팔을 가진 일곱 천사가 나팔 불기를 준비하더라 [계]8:7 첫째 천사가 나팔을 부니 피 섞인 우박과 불이 나와서 땅에 쏟아지매 땅의 삼분의 일이 타 버리고 수목의 삼분의 일도 타 버리고 각종 푸른 풀도 타 버렸더라 [계]8:8 둘째 천사가 나팔을 부니 불 붙는 큰 산과 같은 것이 바다에 던져지매 바다의 삼분의 일이 피가 되고 [계]8:9 바다 가운데 생명 가진 피조물들의 삼분의 일이 죽고 배들의 삼분의 일이 깨지더라 [계]8:10 셋째 천사가 나팔을 부니 횃불 같이 타는 큰 별이 하늘에서 떨어져 강들의 삼분의 일과 여러 물샘에 떨어지니 [계]8:11 이 별 이름은 쓴 쑥이라 물의 삼분의 일이 쓴 쑥이 되매 그 물이 쓴 물이 되므로 많은 사람이 죽더라 [계]8:12 넷째 천사가 나팔을 부니 해 삼분의 일과 달 삼분의 일과 별들의 삼분의 일이 타격을 받아 그 삼분의 일이 어두워지니 낮 삼분의 일은 비추임이 없고 밤도 그러하더라 [계]8:13 내가 또 보고 들으니 공중에 날아가는 독수리가 큰 소리로 이르되 땅에 사는 자들에게 화, 화, 화가 있으리니 이는 세 천사들이 불어야 할 나팔 소리가 남아 있음이로다 하더라
