11월 20일 다니엘 12:12 기다려서 천삼백삼십오 일까지 이르는 그 사람은 복이 있으리라
기다림이 쉬운 일 같아 보이지만 그리스도의 군사로서 장기간의 교육이 아니고는 습득할 수 없는 교과목입니다. 고요한 기다림에 비하면 행군과 훈련은 수월합니다.
망설여지고 혼란스러운 때가 있습니다. 주님 섬기는 일에 누구보다 진취적인 사람조차 방향을 몰라서 헤매는 때가 있습니다. 이러한 상황에서는 어찌해야 합니까? 그냥 절망하고 앉아 있어야 합니까? 몸 사리며 돌아서거나 무작정 돌진합니까?
아닙니다. 그대로 기다려야 합니다. 기도하며 기다려야 합니다. 하나님께 사정을 아뢰고 어려움을 호소하며, 도와주시겠다는 그 약속 다시 한 번 그분 께 언급하십시오.
믿음으로 기다리십시오. 그분에 대한 흔들림 없는 확신을 표현하십시오.
그리고 그분께서 한밤이 지나도록 기다리게 하셔도 결국에는 정한 시간에 오셔서 여러분에게 두신 목적을 성취하실 것임을 믿으십시오.
고요한 인내로 기다리십시오. 이스라엘 백성들이 모세에게 꼭 그랬던 것처럼, 무엇을 자기 문제의 원인으로 여겨 불평하지 마십시오. 상황을 있는 그대로 정확히 받아들이고 진실한 마음으로 여러분의 문제를 언약의 하나님의 손에 맡기십시오. 주님 앞에 여러분의 뜻과 고집 모두 내려놓고 말씀드리십시오. “주님, 내 원대로 마시옵고 아버지의 원대로 되기를 원하나이다." (눅 22:42). 나는 어찌할 바를 모르고 처지는 위급합니다. 하지만 주님께서 나를 위해 바다를 가르시고 내 원수들을 물리치실 때까지 기다리겠습니다. 나를 이곳에 몇 날 며칠을 두신다 해도 내 마음 주님께 붙박였으니 기다리고 또 기다릴 것입니다. 당신께서 나의 기쁨과 구원이 되심을 내 영혼이 전심으로 믿으며 기다리겠습니다. "주는 나의 피난처시요 원수를 피하는 견고한 망대 (시 61:3)이십니다.”
인내로써 기다립시다.
하나님 늦지 않으십니다.
그대의 싹트는 계획들 아버지 손에 있으니
크고 거룩하신 계획 펴시는 날 기다립시다.
인내로써 기다립시다.
희망하며 믿읍시다.
하나님께서 이제 그대의 얽힌 삶
풀어내시고, 그 어두운 곳에서
당신의 뜻 밝히 드러내십니다.
희망하며 믿읍시다.
평화로이 안식합시다.
구주의 가슴에 기대어,
그분의 귀에 그대의 성결한 소망 알리면
복된 결실 맺게 하십니다.

How To Wait
Blessed is he that waiteth — Dan 12:12
It may seem an easy thing to wait, but it is one of the postures which a Christian soldier learns not without years of teaching. Marching and quick-marching are much easier to God’s warriors than standing still.
There are hours of perplexity when the most willing spirit, anxiously desirous to serve the Lord, knows not what part to take. Then what shall it do? Vex itself by despair? Fly back in cowardice, turn to the right hand in fear, or rush forward in presumption?
No, but simply wait. Wait in prayer, however. Call upon God and spread the case before Him; tell Him your difficulty, and plead His promise of aid.
Wait in faith. Express your unstaggering confidence in Him. Believe that if He keeps you tarrying even till midnight, yet He will come at the right time; the vision shall come, and shall not tarry.
Wait in quiet patience. Never murmur against the second cause, as the children of Israel did against Moses. Accept the case as it is, and put it as it stands, simply and with your whole heart, without any self-will, into the hand of your covenant God, saying, “Now, Lord, not my will, but Thine be done. I know not what to do; I am brought to extremities; but I will wait until Thou shalt cleave the floods, or drive back my foes. I will wait, if Thou keep me many a day, for my heart is fixed upon Thee alone, O God, and my spirit waiteth for Thee in full conviction that Thou wilt yet be my joy and my salvation, my refuge and my strong tower.” — Morning by Morning
Wait patiently wait,
God never is late;
Thy budding plans are in Thy Father’s holding,
And only wait His grand divine unfolding.
Then wait, wait,
