어둠 가운데 빛이 있게 하시어 아침이 시작되게 하신 은혜로우신 하나님, 찬양을 받으시옵소서.
제게 건강과 활기를 주셔서 새 날 새로운 사명과 일로 저를 보내 주시니 감사합니다.
이 아침, 주를 찬양하오니 해 아래 모든 시간 동안 저와 동행하여 주시고 모든 악한 길에서 저를 보호하시어 저녁에는 제가 부끄러움으로 제 머리를 감추지 않게 하옵소서.
크신 은혜로 저를 주님의 종으로 삼아주신 오 하나님, 주님의 아주 작은 명령이라도 기꺼이 순종하기 위해 늘 준비되기 원합니다.
기도하오니, 주님의 영을 보내셔서 주님의 가장 거룩하신 뜻이 주님의 때에 성취되도록 저를 끊임없이 훈련하여 주옵소서.
제 마음의 끝자락까지 예민하게 하옵소서.
제 생각이 늘 올곧고 진실하게 하옵소서.
제 열정을 잘 통제하게 하옵소서.
제 육체가 건강하고 튼실하게 하옵소서.
자신을 보내신 아버지의 뜻을 행하는 일에만 관심을 기울이셨던 예수님을 늘 기억하게 하옵소서.
오 포도원의 주인이신 하나님,
성실하고 신실하게 자기 소명에 충성하면서 제 몫의 세상 짐을 기꺼이 함께 지며,
우직함과 올곧음으로 일상의 과업을 감당하고 진실로 주님을 섬기기를 갈망하는 모든 이들에게 주님의 복을 내리소서.
사랑하는 주님, 기도하오니 가축을 돌보거나 땅을 경작하는 모든 이들에게,
시장에서 사고파는 모든 이들에게, 가정을 돌보는 모든 이들에게 당신의 복을 내리소서.
크나큰 자비로 늘 저희를 에워싸는 유혹으로부터 구원하여 주시고,
거룩한 십자가의 권능으로 저희를 영생으로 이끌어 주옵소서. 아멘.
Blessed be You, most gracious God, that again You have brought light out of darkness and caused the morning to appear! Blessed be You that You do send me out, in health and vigor, to the duties and doings of another day! Go with me, I ask You, through all the sunlit hours, and so protect me from every evil way that, when evening comes, I need not hide my head in shame.
You who have so graciously called me to be Your servant, I hold myself in readiness today for Your every command. Give me the spirit, I pray You, to keep myself in continual training for the punctual fulfillment of Your most holy will.
Let me keep the edges of my mind keen
Let me keep my thinking straight and true
Let me keep my passions in control
Let me keep my will active
Let me keep my body fit and healthy
Let me remember Him whose sustenance it was to do the will of Him that sent Him.
Lord of the vineyard, I beg Your blessing upon all who truly desire to serve You by being diligent and faithful in their several callings, bearing their due share of the world's burden, and going about their daily tasks in all simplicity and uprightness of heart.
For all who tend flocks or till the soil
For all who work in factories or in mines
For all who buy and sell in the marketplace
For all who work with their brains
For all who work with their pens
For all who tend the hearth
Dear Lord, I pray.
In Your great mercy, save us all from the temptations that trouble us, and bring us to everlasting life, by the power of the Holy Cross. Amen.
은혜로우신 주님, 어두움 가운데 빛을 주시고 다시 아침을 있게 하심을 찬송합니다. 나를 건강하고 활기 있게 하루의 과업을 위해 보내심을 찬송합니다. 구하오니, 나와 함께 하여 주시고 하루 종일 나를 악의 길에서 보호하셔서 저녁에 부끄러워 내 머리를 숨기지 않게 하소서.

포도원의 주인이 되시는 주님, 세상의 짐을 나누어지고 단순함과 바른 마음으로 자기들의 매일의 과업을 수행하며, 당신께 봉사하기를 진심으로 소원하면서 근면과 충성으로 소명을 이루어가는 모든 사람들을 축복하여 주소서.
가축을 기르거나 땅을 경작하는 사람들
공장이나 광산에서 노동하는 사람들
시장에서 매매하는 사람들
정신노동자들
문필가들
집안을 돌보는 사람들
이 모든 사람들을 위해서 기도합니다.
주님의 크신 긍휼로 우리 앞에 당한 시험에서 구하시고 거룩한 십자가의 능력으로 우리를 영원한 삶으로 인도하여 주소서. 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도하옵나이다. 아멘.
