선하시고 공평하시고 모든 참된 것의 근원이 되시는 오 하나님 주님께 제 영혼을 올려드립니다.
오 하나님,
당신의 영을 제 마음속에 보내 주옵소서.
그리하여 지금 제가 기도할 때 제안에 조금이라도 당신이 들어오시지 못할 은밀하게 닫힌 공간이 없게 하여 주옵소서.
오 하나님,
제게 선을 추구할 수 있는 능력을 주옵소서.
그리하여 지금 제가 기도할 때 제안에서 비밀스럽고 사악한 목적이 성취의 기회를 엿보지 않게 하옵소서.
오 하나님,
제 모든 일에 복을 주셔서 번성케 하옵소서.
그리하여 지금 제가 기도할 때 감히 주님의 축복을 구하지 못할 일들에 마음을 빼앗기지 않게 하옵소서.
오 하나님,
제게 순결함을 주소서. 그리하여 지금 제가 기도할 때, 은밀하게 제 마음속에서 ‘아직은 아니야, 너무 많이는 하지 마’라고 속삭이지 않게 하옵소서.
오 하나님,
이 집에 머무는 모두에게 복을 내려 주옵소서.
그리하여 지금 제가 기도할 때, 시기나 독한 마음이나 누군가를 향한 분노 같은 그릇된 감정을 품지 않게 하옵소서.
오 하나님,
제 원수와 제게 그릇 행하는 이들을 축복하여 주옵소서.
그리하여 지금 제가 기도할 때, 언젠가 그들에게 원수를 갚겠다는 마음을 품지 않게 하옵소서.
오 하나님, 당신의 나라가 이 땅에 임하게 하옵소서.
그리하여 지금 제가 기도할 때, 제 가장 좋은 시절을 헛된 목적을 위해 살지 않게 하옵소서.
오 하나님의 영이시여,
제가 이 헌신의 기도를 하고 일어나면, 저로 하여금 다시는 악한 생각과 세상의 길로 돌아가지 않게 하시고 그리스도 예수 안에도 있었던 그 마음이 언제나 제 안에도 있게 하여 주옵소서. 아멘.

Now as I pray this prayer, let not any room within me be furtively closed to keep You out.
God, give me power to follow after that which is good.
Now as I pray this prayer, let there be no secret purpose of evil formed in my mind, that waits for an opportunity of fulfillment.
God, bless all my undertakings and cause them to prosper.
Now as I pray this prayer, let me not be still holding to some undertaking on which I dare not ask Your blessing.
God, give me chastity.
Now as I pray this prayer, let me not say to myself secretly, But not yet, or, But not overmuch.
God, bless every member of this household.
Now as I pray this prayer, let me not still harbor in my heart a wrongful feeling of jealousy or bitterness or anger towards any of them.
God, bless my enemies and those who have done me wrong.
Now as I pray this prayer, let me not still cherish in my heart the resolve to requite them when occasion offers.
God, let Your Kingdom come on earth.
Now as I pray this prayer, let me not be still intending to devote my own best hours and years to the service of lesser ends.
O Holy Spirit of God, as I rise from these acts of devotion, let me not return to evil thoughts and worldly ways, but let that mind be in me which was also in Christ Jesus. Amen.
