1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, 1 וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃ 2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When any man has a bodily discharge, the discharge is unclean. 2 דַּבְּרוּ֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אִ֣ישׁ אִ֗ישׁ כִּ֤י יִהְיֶה֙ זָ֣ב מִבְּשָׂרֹ֔ו זֹובֹ֖ו טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃ 3 Whether it continues flowing from his body or is blocked, it will make him unclean. This is how his discharge will bring about uncleanness: 3 וְזֹ֛את תִּהְיֶ֥ה טֻמְאָתֹ֖ו בְּזֹובֹ֑ו רָ֣ר בְּשָׂרֹ֞ו אֶת־זֹובֹ֗ו אֹֽו־הֶחְתִּ֤ים בְּשָׂרֹו֙ מִזֹּובֹ֔ו טֻמְאָתֹ֖ו הִֽוא׃ 4 " 'Any bed the man with a discharge lies on will be unclean, and anything he sits on will be unclean. 4 כָּל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכַּ֥ב עָלָ֛יו הַזָּ֖ב יִטְמָ֑א וְכָֽל־הַכְּלִ֛י אֲשֶׁר־יֵשֵׁ֥ב עָלָ֖יו יִטְמָֽא׃ 5 Anyone who touches his bed must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 5 וְאִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִגַּ֖ע בְּמִשְׁכָּבֹ֑ו יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 6 Whoever sits on anything that the man with a discharge sat on must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 6 וְהַיֹּשֵׁב֙ עַֽל־הַכְּלִ֔י אֲשֶׁר־יֵשֵׁ֥ב עָלָ֖יו הַזָּ֑ב יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 7 " 'Whoever touches the man who has a discharge must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 7 וְהַנֹּגֵ֖עַ בִּבְשַׂ֣ר הַזָּ֑ב יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 8 " 'If the man with the discharge spits on someone who is clean, that person must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 8 וְכִֽי־יָרֹ֛ק הַזָּ֖ב בַּטָּהֹ֑ור וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 9 " 'Everything the man sits on when riding will be unclean, 9 וְכָל־הַמֶּרְכָּ֗ב אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִרְכַּ֥ב עָלָ֛יו הַזָּ֖ב יִטְמָֽא׃ 10 and whoever touches any of the things that were under him will be unclean till evening; whoever picks up those things must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 10 וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֗עַ בְּכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִהְיֶ֣ה תַחְתָּ֔יו יִטְמָ֖א עַד־הָעָ֑רֶב וְהַנֹּושֵׂ֣א אֹותָ֔ם יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 11 " 'Anyone the man with a discharge touches without rinsing his hands with water must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 11 וְכֹ֨ל אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִגַּע־בֹּו֙ הַזָּ֔ב וְיָדָ֖יו לֹא־שָׁטַ֣ף בַּמָּ֑יִם וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 12 " 'A clay pot that the man touches must be broken, and any wooden article is to be rinsed with water. 12 וּכְלִי־חֶ֛רֶשׂ אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּע־בֹּ֥ו הַזָּ֖ב יִשָּׁבֵ֑ר וְכָל־כְּלִי־עֵ֔ץ יִשָּׁטֵ֖ף בַּמָּֽיִם׃ 13 " 'When a man is cleansed from his discharge, he is to count off seven days for his ceremonial cleansing; he must wash his clothes and bathe himself with fresh water, and he will be clean. 13 וְכִֽי־יִטְהַ֤ר הַזָּב֙ מִזֹּובֹ֔ו וְסָ֨פַר לֹ֜ו שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֛ים לְטָהֳרָתֹ֖ו וְכִבֶּ֣ס בְּגָדָ֑יו וְרָחַ֧ץ בְּשָׂרֹ֛ו בְּמַ֥יִם חַיִּ֖ים וְטָהֵֽר׃ 14 On the eighth day he must take two doves or two young pigeons and come before the LORD to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and give them to the priest. 14 וּבַיֹּ֣ום הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י יִֽקַּֽח־לֹו֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים אֹ֥ו שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יֹונָ֑ה וּבָ֣א ׀ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֶל־פֶּ֙תַח֙ אֹ֣הֶל מֹועֵ֔ד וּנְתָנָ֖ם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃ 15 The priest is to sacrifice them, the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. In this way he will make atonement before the LORD for the man because of his discharge. 15 וְעָשָׂ֤ה אֹתָם֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶחָ֣ד חַטָּ֔את וְהָאֶחָ֖ד עֹלָ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֨ר עָלָ֧יו הַכֹּהֵ֛ן לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה מִזֹּובֹֽו׃ ס 16 " 'When a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 16 וְאִ֕ישׁ כִּֽי־תֵצֵ֥א מִמֶּ֖נּוּ שִׁכְבַת־זָ֑רַע וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֛יִם אֶת־כָּל־בְּשָׂרֹ֖ו וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 17 Any clothing or leather that has semen on it must be washed with water, and it will be unclean till evening. 17 וְכָל־בֶּ֣גֶד וְכָל־עֹ֔ור אֲשֶׁר־יִהְיֶ֥ה עָלָ֖יו שִׁכְבַת־זָ֑רַע וְכֻבַּ֥ס בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ פ 18 When a man lies with a woman and there is an emission of semen, both must bathe with water, and they will be unclean till evening. 18 וְאִשָּׁ֕ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁכַּ֥ב אִ֛ישׁ אֹתָ֖הּ שִׁכְבַת־זָ֑רַע וְרָחֲצ֣וּ בַמַּ֔יִם וְטָמְא֖וּ עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 19 " 'When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening. 19 וְאִשָּׁה֙ כִּֽי־תִהְיֶ֣ה זָבָ֔ה דָּ֛ם יִהְיֶ֥ה זֹבָ֖הּ בִּבְשָׂרָ֑הּ שִׁבְעַ֤ת יָמִים֙ תִּהְיֶ֣ה בְנִדָּתָ֔הּ וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בָּ֖הּ יִטְמָ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 20 " 'Anything she lies on during her period will be unclean, and anything she sits on will be unclean. 20 וְכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּשְׁכַּ֥ב עָלָ֛יו בְּנִדָּתָ֖הּ יִטְמָ֑א וְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־תֵּשֵׁ֥ב עָלָ֖יו יִטְמָֽא׃ 21 Whoever touches her bed must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 21 וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֖עַ בְּמִשְׁכָּבָ֑הּ יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 22 Whoever touches anything she sits on must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 22 וְכָל־הַנֹּגֵ֔עַ בְּכָל־כְּלִ֖י אֲשֶׁר־תֵּשֵׁ֣ב עָלָ֑יו יְכַבֵּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 23 Whether it is the bed or anything she was sitting on, when anyone touches it, he will be unclean till evening. 23 וְאִ֨ם עַֽל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֜ב ה֗וּא אֹ֧ו עַֽל־הַכְּלִ֛י אֲשֶׁר־הִ֥וא יֹשֶֽׁבֶת־עָלָ֖יו בְּנָגְעֹו־בֹ֑ו יִטְמָ֖א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 24 " 'If a man lies with her and her monthly flow touches him, he will be unclean for seven days; any bed he lies on will be unclean. 24 אִ֡ם שָׁכֹב֩ יִשְׁכַּ֨ב אִ֜ישׁ אֹתָ֗הּ וּתְהִ֤י נִדָּתָהּ֙ עָלָ֔יו וְטָמֵ֖א שִׁבְעַ֣ת יָמִ֑ים וְכָל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ב אֲשֶׁר־יִשְׁכַּ֥ב עָלָ֖יו יִטְמָֽא׃ פ 25 " 'When a woman has a discharge of blood for many days at a time other than her monthly period or has a discharge that continues beyond her period, she will be unclean as long as she has the discharge, just as in the days of her period. 25 וְאִשָּׁ֡ה כִּֽי־יָזוּב֩ זֹ֨וב דָּמָ֜הּ יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֗ים בְּלֹא֙ עֶת־נִדָּתָ֔הּ אֹ֥ו כִֽי־תָז֖וּב עַל־נִדָּתָ֑הּ כָּל־יְמֵ֞י זֹ֣וב טֻמְאָתָ֗הּ כִּימֵ֧י נִדָּתָ֛הּ תִּהְיֶ֖ה טְמֵאָ֥ה הִֽוא׃ 26 Any bed she lies on while her discharge continues will be unclean, as is her bed during her monthly period, and anything she sits on will be unclean, as during her period. 26 כָּל־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֞ב אֲשֶׁר־תִּשְׁכַּ֤ב עָלָיו֙ כָּל־יְמֵ֣י זֹובָ֔הּ כְּמִשְׁכַּ֥ב נִדָּתָ֖הּ יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֑הּ וְכָֽל־הַכְּלִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֵּשֵׁ֣ב עָלָ֔יו טָמֵ֣א יִהְיֶ֔ה כְּטֻמְאַ֖ת נִדָּתָֽהּ׃ 27 Whoever touches them will be unclean; he must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. 27 וְכָל־הַנֹּוגֵ֥עַ בָּ֖ם יִטְמָ֑א וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָמֵ֥א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ 28 " 'When she is cleansed from her discharge, she must count off seven days, and after that she will be ceremonially clean. 28 וְאִֽם־טָהֲרָ֖ה מִזֹּובָ֑הּ וְסָ֥פְרָה לָּ֛הּ שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִ֖ים וְאַחַ֥ר תִּטְהָֽר׃ 29 On the eighth day she must take two doves or two young pigeons and bring them to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. 29 וּבַיֹּ֣ום הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י תִּֽקַּֽח־לָהּ֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֔ים אֹ֥ו שְׁנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יֹונָ֑ה וְהֵבִיאָ֤ה אֹותָם֙ אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מֹועֵֽד׃ 30 The priest is to sacrifice one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. In this way he will make atonement for her before the LORD for the uncleanness of her discharge. 30 וְעָשָׂ֤ה הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֶת־הָאֶחָ֣ד חַטָּ֔את וְאֶת־הָאֶחָ֖ד עֹלָ֑ה וְכִפֶּ֨ר עָלֶ֤יהָ הַכֹּהֵן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה מִזֹּ֖וב טֻמְאָתָֽהּ׃ 31 " 'You must keep the Israelites separate from things that make them unclean, so they will not die in their uncleanness for defiling my dwelling place, which is among them.' " 31 וְהִזַּרְתֶּ֥ם אֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִטֻּמְאָתָ֑ם וְלֹ֤א יָמֻ֙תוּ֙ בְּטֻמְאָתָ֔ם בְּטַמְּאָ֥ם אֶת־מִשְׁכָּנִ֖י אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּתֹוכָֽם׃ 32 These are the regulations for a man with a discharge, for anyone made unclean by an emission of semen, 32 זֹ֥את תֹּורַ֖ת הַזָּ֑ב וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר תֵּצֵ֥א מִמֶּ֛נּוּ שִׁכְבַת־זֶ֖רַע לְטָמְאָה־בָֽהּ׃ 33 for a woman in her monthly period, for a man or a woman with a discharge, and for a man who lies with a woman who is ceremonially unclean. 33 וְהַדָּוָה֙ בְּנִדָּתָ֔הּ וְהַזָּב֙ אֶת־זֹובֹ֔ו לַזָּכָ֖ר וְלַנְּקֵבָ֑ה וּלְאִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִשְׁכַּ֖ב עִם־טְמֵאָֽה׃ פ 1. 주님께서 모세와 아론에게 말씀하셨다. 2. "너희는 이스라엘 자손에게 말하여라. 그들에게 이렇게 일러라. 어떤 남자가 성기에서 고름을 흘리면, 그는 이 고름 때문에 부정하다. 3. 다음은 고름을 흘리는 남자와 관련하여 부정하게 되는 경우들을 밝힌 규례이다. 그 남자의 몸에서 고름이 줄곧 흘러나오든지, 그 남자의 몸에 고름이 고여 있든지 하면, 그는 그것 때문에 부정하다. 4. 고름을 흘리는 남자가 눕는 자리는 모두 부정하다. 그가 앉는 자리도 모두 부정하다. 5. 그의 잠자리에 닿는 사람은 모두 그 옷을 빨고, 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 6. 고름을 흘리는 남자가 앉았던 자리에 앉는 사람들도, 그 옷을 빨아야 하고, 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 7. 고름을 흘리는 남자의 몸에 닿는 사람들도, 모두 그 옷을 빨고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 8. 고름을 흘리는 남자가 뱉은 침이 깨끗한 사람에게 튀면, 침 묻은 그 사람은 옷을 빨고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 9. 고름을 흘리는 남자가 타고 다니는 안장도 모두 부정하다. 10. 그리고 그 고름을 흘리는 남자가 깔았던 어떤 것에 닿은 사람은 누구든지 저녁때까지 부정하다. 그런 물건을 옮기는 사람도 그 옷을 빨고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 11. 고름을 흘리는 남자가 그 손을 물로 씻지 않고 어느 누구를 만졌으면, 그에게 닿은 사람은 그 옷을 빨고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 12. 고름을 흘리는 남자가 만진 오지그릇은 깨뜨려 버려야 한다. 그가 만진 것이 나무그릇일 때에는 모두 물로 씻어야 한다. 13. 고름을 흘리는 남자가 나아서 정하게 되려면, 이레 동안 기다렸다가 옷을 빨고, 흐르는 물에 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그런 다음에야 정하게 된다. 14. 여드레째 되는 날에, 그는 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 새끼 두 마리를 가지고, 주 앞 곧 회막 어귀로 와서, 제사장에게 주어야 한다. 15. 그러면 제사장은 그것들을 받아서, 하나는 속죄제로 드리고, 나머지 하나는 번제로 드린다. 제사장은 그렇게 함으로써, 그 남자가 고름을 흘려서 부정하게 된 것을 주 앞에서 속하여 준다. 16. 남자가 정액을 흘리면, 자기 온 몸을 물로 씻어야 한다. 그래도 그 사람은 저녁때까지 부정하다. 17. 정액이 묻은 옷이나 가죽은 모두 물로 빨아야 한다. 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 18. 남자가 여자와 동침하였다가 정액을 쏟으면, 두 사람이 다 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그래도 그들은 저녁때까지 부정하다." 19. "여자가 몸에서 피를 흘릴 때에, 그것이 그 여자의 몸에서 흐르는 월경이면, 그 여자는 이레 동안 불결하다. 그 여자에게 닿는 남자는 모두 저녁때까지 부정하다. 20. 그 여자가 불결한 기간에 눕는 자리는 모두 부정하다. 그 여자가 앉았던 모든 자리도 부정하다. 21. 그 여자의 잠자리에 닿는 남자는, 모두 옷을 빨고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그 남자는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 22. 그 여자가 앉았던 자리에 닿는 남자는, 누구나 옷을 빨고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그 남자는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 23. 그 여자가 눕는 잠자리든 앉는 자리든, 어떤 남자가 그 자리에 닿으면, 그 남자는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 24. 어떤 남자가 그 여자와 동침하면, 그 여자의 불결한 상태가 그 남자에게 옮아서 이레 동안 부정하고, 그 남자가 눕는 잠자리도 모두 부정하다. 25. 어떤 여자가 자기 몸이 월경 기간이 아닌데도, 여러 날 동안 줄곧 피를 흘리거나, 월경 기간이 끝났는데도, 줄곧 피를 흘리면, 피가 흐르는 그 기간 동안 그 여자는 부정하다. 몸이 불결한 때와 같이, 이 기간에도 그 여자는 부정하다. 26. 그 여자가 피를 흘리는 동안 눕는 잠자리는 모두, 월경 기간에 눕는 잠자리와 마찬가지로 부정하고, 그 여자가 앉는 자리도, 월경 기간에 앉는 자리가 부정하듯이, 모두 부정하다. 27. 누구나 이런 것들에 닿으면 부정하다. 그는 옷을 빨고 물로 목욕을 하여야 한다. 그는 저녁때까지 부정하다. 28. 그러나 흐르던 피가 멎고 나서도 정하게 되려면, 그 여자는 이레 동안 기다려야 한다. 그런 다음에야 정하게 된다. 29. 여드레째 되는 날에, 그 여자는 산비둘기 두 마리나 집비둘기 새끼 두 마리를 회막 어귀의 제사장에게로 가져 와야 한다. 30. 그러면 제사장은 그것들을 받아서, 하나는 속죄제로 드리고, 나머지 하나는 번제로 드린다. 제사장은 그렇게 함으로써, 그 여자가 피를 흘려 부정하게 된 것을 주 앞에서 속하여 준다. 31. 너희는 이스라엘 자손이 부정을 타지 않도록 하여라. 그들 가운데 있는 나의 성막을 부정하게 하였다가는, 그것 때문에 그들은 죽음을 면하지 못한다. 32. 위에서 말한 것은, 남자가 성기에서 고름을 흘리거나 정액을 흘려서 부정하게 되었을 때에 지킬 규례로서, 33. 몸이 월경 상태에 있는 여자와, 부정한 것을 흘리는 남녀와, 그리고 월경 상태에 있는 여자와 동침한 남자가 지켜야 할 규례이다."
