1Then Moses went out and spoke these words to all Israel: |
1וַיֵּלֶךְ מֹשֶׁה וַיְדַבֵּר אֶת־הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֶל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
|
2"I am now a hundred and twenty years old and I am no longer able to lead you. The LORD has said to me, 'You shall not cross the Jordan.' |
2וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם בֶּן־מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה אָנֹכִי הַיֹּום לֹא־אוּכַל עֹוד לָצֵאת וְלָבֹוא וַיהוָה אָמַר אֵלַי לֹא תַעֲבֹר אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּן הַזֶּה׃ |
|
3The LORD your God himself will cross over ahead of you. He will destroy these nations before you, and you will take possession of their land. Joshua also will cross over ahead of you, as the LORD said. |
3יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ הוּא עֹבֵר לְפָנֶיךָ הוּא־יַשְׁמִיד אֶת־הַגֹּויִם הָאֵלֶּה מִלְּפָנֶיךָ וִירִשְׁתָּם יְהֹושֻׁעַ הוּא עֹבֵר לְפָנֶיךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה׃ |
|
4And the LORD will do to them what he did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, whom he destroyed along with their land. |
4וְעָשָׂה יְהוָה לָהֶם כַּאֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה לְסִיחֹון וּלְעֹוג מַלְכֵי הָאֱמֹרִי וּלְאַרְצָם אֲשֶׁר הִשְׁמִיד אֹתָם׃ |
|
5The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you. |
5וּנְתָנָם יְהוָה לִפְנֵיכֶם וַעֲשִׂיתֶם לָהֶם כְּכָל־הַמִּצְוָה אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִי אֶתְכֶם׃ |
|
6Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." |
6חִזְקוּ וְאִמְצוּ אַל־תִּירְאוּ וְאַל־תַּעַרְצוּ מִפְּנֵיהֶם כִּי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ הוּא הַהֹלֵךְ עִמָּךְ לֹא יַרְפְּךָ וְלֹא יַעַזְבֶךָּ׃ ף |
|
7Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. |
7וַיִּקְרָא מֹשֶׁה לִיהֹושֻׁעַ וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו לְעֵינֵי כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל חֲזַק וֶאֱמָץ כִּי אַתָּה תָּבֹוא אֶת־הָעָם הַזֶּה אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה לַאֲבֹתָם לָתֵת לָהֶם וְאַתָּה תַּנְחִילֶנָּה אֹותָם׃ |
|
8The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." |
8וַיהוָה הוּא הַהֹלֵךְ לְפָנֶיךָ הוּא יִהְיֶה עִמָּךְ לֹא יַרְפְּךָ וְלֹא יַעַזְבֶךָּ לֹא תִירָא וְלֹא תֵחָת׃ |
|
9So Moses wrote down this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel. |
9וַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הַתֹּורָה הַזֹּאת וַיִּתְּנָהּ אֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִים בְּנֵי לֵוִי הַנֹּשְׂאִים אֶת־אֲרֹון בְּרִית יְהוָה וְאֶל־כָּל־זִקְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
|
10Then Moses commanded them: "At the end of every seven years, in the year for canceling debts, during the Feast of Tabernacles, |
10וַיְצַו מֹשֶׁה אֹותָם לֵאמֹר מִקֵּץ שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים בְּמֹעֵד שְׁנַת הַשְּׁמִטָּה בְּחַג הַסֻּכֹּות׃ |
|
11when all Israel comes to appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose, you shall read this law before them in their hearing. |
11בְּבֹוא כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵרָאֹות אֶת־פְּנֵי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בַּמָּקֹום אֲשֶׁר יִבְחָר תִּקְרָא אֶת־הַתֹּורָה הַזֹּאת נֶגֶד כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאָזְנֵיהֶם׃ |
|
12Assemble the people-men, women and children, and the aliens living in your towns-so they can listen and learn to fear the LORD your God and follow carefully all the words of this law. |
12הַקְהֵל אֶת־הָעָם הָאֲנָשִׁים וְהַנָּשִׁים וְהַטַּף וְגֵרְךָ אֲשֶׁר בִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ לְמַעַן יִשְׁמְעוּ וּלְמַעַן יִלְמְדוּ וְיָרְאוּ אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם וְשָׁמְרוּ לַעֲשֹׂות אֶת־כָּל־דִּבְרֵי הַתֹּורָה הַזֹּאת׃ |
|
13Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it and learn to fear the LORD your God as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess." |
13וּבְנֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָדְעוּ יִשְׁמְעוּ וְלָמְדוּ לְיִרְאָה אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם כָּל־הַיָּמִים אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם חַיִּים עַל־הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם עֹבְרִים אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּן שָׁמָּה לְרִשְׁתָּהּ׃ ף |
|
14The LORD said to Moses, "Now the day of your death is near. Call Joshua and present yourselves at the Tent of Meeting, where I will commission him." So Moses and Joshua came and presented themselves at the Tent of Meeting. |
14וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה הֵן קָרְבוּ יָמֶיךָ לָמוּת קְרָא אֶת־יְהֹושֻׁעַ וְהִתְיַצְּבוּ בְּאֹהֶל מֹועֵד וַאֲצַוֶּנּוּ וַיֵּלֶךְ מֹשֶׁה וִיהֹושֻׁעַ וַיִּתְיַצְּבוּ בְּאֹהֶל מֹועֵד׃ |
|
15Then the LORD appeared at the Tent in a pillar of cloud, and the cloud stood over the entrance to the Tent. |
15וַיֵּרָא יְהוָה בָּאֹהֶל בְּעַמּוּד עָןָן וַיַּעֲמֹד עַמּוּד הֶעָןָן עַל־פֶּתַח הָאֹהֶל׃ ס |
|
16And the LORD said to Moses: "You are going to rest with your fathers, and these people will soon prostitute themselves to the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake me and break the covenant I made with them. |
16וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה הִנְּךָ שֹׁכֵב עִם־אֲבֹתֶיךָ וְקָם הָעָם הַזֶּה וְזָנָה אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהֵי נֵכַר־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר הוּא בָא־שָׁמָּה בְּקִרְבֹּו וַעֲזָבַנִי וְהֵפֵר אֶת־בְּרִיתִי אֲשֶׁר כָּרַתִּי אִתֹּו׃ |
|
17On that day I will become angry with them and forsake them; I will hide my face from them, and they will be destroyed. Many disasters and difficulties will come upon them, and on that day they will ask, 'Have not these disasters come upon us because our God is not with us?' |
17וְחָרָה אַפִּי בֹו בַיֹּום־הַהוּא וַעֲזַבְתִּים וְהִסְתַּרְתִּי פָנַי מֵהֶם וְהָיָה לֶאֱכֹל וּמְצָאֻהוּ רָעֹות רַבֹּות וְצָרֹות וְאָמַר בַּיֹּום הַהוּא הֲלֹא עַל כִּי־אֵין אֱלֹהַי בְּקִרְבִּי מְצָאוּנִי הָרָעֹות הָאֵלֶּה׃ |
|
18And I will certainly hide my face on that day because of all their wickedness in turning to other gods. |
18וְאָנֹכִי הַסְתֵּר אַסְתִּיר פָּנַי בַּיֹּום הַהוּא עַל כָּל־הָרָעָה אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה כִּי פָנָה אֶל־אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים׃ |
|
19"Now write down for yourselves this song and teach it to the Israelites and have them sing it, so that it may be a witness for me against them. |
19וְעַתָּה כִּתְבוּ לָכֶם אֶת־הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת וְלַמְּדָהּ אֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל שִׂימָהּ בְּפִיהֶם לְמַעַן תִּהְיֶה־לִּי הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת לְעֵד בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
|
20When I have brought them into the land flowing with milk and honey, the land I promised on oath to their forefathers, and when they eat their fill and thrive, they will turn to other gods and worship them, rejecting me and breaking my covenant. |
20כִּי־אֲבִיאֶנּוּ אֶל־הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לַאֲבֹתָיו זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבַשׁ וְאָכַל וְשָׂבַע וְדָשֵׁן וּפָנָה אֶל־אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים וַעֲבָדוּם וְנִאֲצוּנִי וְהֵפֵר אֶת־בְּרִיתִי׃ |
|
21And when many disasters and difficulties come upon them, this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten by their descendants. I know what they are disposed to do, even before I bring them into the land I promised them on oath." |
21וְהָיָה כִּי־תִמְצֶאןָ אֹתֹו רָעֹות רַבֹּות וְצָרֹות וְעָנְתָה הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת לְפָנָיו לְעֵד כִּי לֹא תִשָּׁכַח מִפִּי זַרְעֹו כִּי יָדַעְתִּי אֶת־יִצְרֹו אֲשֶׁר הוּא עֹשֶׂה הַיֹּום בְּטֶרֶם אֲבִיאֶנּוּ אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבָּעְתִּי׃ |
|
22So Moses wrote down this song that day and taught it to the Israelites. |
22וַיִּכְתֹּב מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת בַּיֹּום הַהוּא וַיְלַמְּדָהּ אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
|
23The LORD gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: "Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you." |
23וַיְצַו אֶת־יְהֹושֻׁעַ בִּן־נוּן וַיֹּאמֶר חֲזַק וֶאֱמָץ כִּי אַתָּה תָּבִיא אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לָהֶם וְאָנֹכִי אֶהְיֶה עִמָּךְ׃ |
|
24After Moses finished writing in a book the words of this law from beginning to end, |
24וַיְהִי כְּכַלֹּות מֹשֶׁה לִכְתֹּב אֶת־דִּבְרֵי הַתֹּורָה־הַזֹּאת עַל־סֵפֶר עַד תֻּםָּם׃ |
|
25he gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD : |
25וַיְצַו מֹשֶׁה אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם נֹשְׂאֵי אֲרֹון בְּרִית־יְהוָה לֵאמֹר׃ |
|
26"Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. There it will remain as a witness against you. |
26לָקֹחַ אֵת סֵפֶר הַתֹּורָה הַזֶּה וְשַׂמְתֶּם אֹתֹו מִצַּד אֲרֹון בְּרִית־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם וְהָיָה־שָׁם בְּךָ לְעֵד׃ |
|
27For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against the LORD while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die! |
27כִּי אָנֹכִי יָדַעְתִּי אֶת־מֶרְיְךָ וְאֶת־עָרְפְּךָ הַקָּשֶׁה הֵן בְּעֹודֶנִּי חַי עִםָּכֶם הַיֹּום מַמְרִים הֱיִתֶם עִם־יְהֹוָה וְאַף כִּי־אַחֲרֵי מֹותִי׃ |
|
28Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officials, so that I can speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to testify against them. |
28הַקְהִילוּ אֵלַי אֶת־כָּל־זִקְנֵי שִׁבְטֵיכֶם וְשֹׁטְרֵיכֶם וַאֲדַבְּרָה בְאָזְנֵיהֶם אֵת הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וְאָעִידָה בָּם אֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִם וְאֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃ |
|
29For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall upon you because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD and provoke him to anger by what your hands have made." |
29כִּי יָדַעְתִּי אַחֲרֵי מֹותִי כִּי־הַשְׁחֵת תַּשְׁחִתוּן וְסַרְתֶּם מִן־הַדֶּרֶךְ אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִי אֶתְכֶם וְקָרָאת אֶתְכֶם הָרָעָה בְּאַחֲרִית הַיָּמִים כִּי־תַעֲשׂוּ אֶת־הָרַע בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה לְהַכְעִיסֹו בְּמַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיכֶם׃ |

30And Moses recited the words of this song from beginning to end in the hearing of the whole assembly of Israel: |
30וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה בְּאָזְנֵי כָּל־קְהַל יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־דִּבְרֵי הַשִּׁירָה הַזֹּאת עַד תֻּםָּם׃ ף

1모세가 모든 이스라엘 백성에게 이 말씀을 다시 전했습니다.
2"나는 이제 백이십 세요. 이제는 더 이상 여러분 앞에 나설 수 없소. 여호와께서는 내가 요단 강을 건널 수 없다고 말씀하셨소.
3그러나 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 몸소 건너가셔서 여러분을 위해 저 나라들을 멸망시키실 것이오. 그래서 여러분이 그 땅을 차지할 수 있게 해 주실 것이오. 그리고 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 여호수아가 여러분 앞에서 저 강을 건너갈 것이오.
4여호와께서는 시혼과 옥에게 하신 일을 이 나라들에게도 하실 것이오. 그들은 아모리 사람들의 왕이었는데 여호와께서 그들과 그들의 땅을 멸망시키셨소.
5여호와께서 저 나라들을 여러분에게 주실 것이니, 내가 명령한 대로 그들에게 하시오.
6마음을 굳세게 하고 용감히 행하시오. 그들을 두려워하지 마시오. 놀라지 마시오. 여러분의 하나님 여호와께서 여러분과 함께하실 것이오. 여러분을 떠나지도 않고 버리지도 않으실 것이오."
7모세가 여호수아를 불러서 온 이스라엘이 보는 앞에서 말했습니다. "마음을 굳세게 하고 용기를 내어라. 이 백성을 여호와께서 그 조상에게 약속하신 땅으로 인도하여라. 이 백성을 도와 그 땅을 차지할 수 있게 하여라.
8여호와께서 몸소 네 앞에서 가시며 너와 함께하실 것이다. 너를 떠나지도 않고 버리지도 않으실 것이다. 두려워하지 마라. 걱정하지 마라."
9그런 다음에 모세는 이 율법을 적었습니다. 그리고 그것을 여호와의 언약궤를 메는 레위의 자손인 제사장들과 이스라엘의 장로들에게 주었습니다.
10모세가 그들에게 명령했습니다. "매 칠 년이 끝나는 해는 백성의 빚을 면제해 주는 해요. 그 해의 초막절 기간에
11모든 이스라엘 백성이 하나님 여호와 앞에 나와서 여호와께서 선택하신 곳에 서면 이 말씀을 읽어 주시오.
12남자나 여자나 아이나 외국인이나 할 것 없이 모든 백성을 불러 모으시오. 그들이 이 말씀을 듣고 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 공경하고 두려워하며 이 모든 율법의 말씀을 부지런히 지키게 하시오.
13그리고 율법을 알지 못하는 여러분의 자녀도 요단 강을 건너 차지할 땅에 사는 동안 이 말씀을 듣고 여러분의 하나님 여호와를 공경하고 두려워하게 하시오."
14여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다. "너는 곧 죽을 것이다. 여호수아를 데리고 회막으로 나아오너라. 내가 그에게 명령을 내리겠다." 그래서 모세와 여호수아는 회막으로 갔습니다.
15여호와께서 구름 기둥 가운데서 회막, 곧 성막에 나타나셨습니다. 구름 기둥은 성막 입구를 덮고 있었습니다.
16여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다. "너는 곧 네 조상들처럼 죽을 것이다. 그러면 이 백성이 나를 배반하고 그들은 이제 곧 들어갈 땅의 다른 신들을 섬길 것이다. 그들은 나를 떠나갈 것이다. 그리고 나와 맺은 언약을 어길 것이다.
17그 때, 내가 그들에게 크게 분노하고 그들을 떠나갈 것이다. 내 얼굴을 그들에게 숨길 것이다. 그러면 그들은 멸망할 것이다. 많은 재앙과 무서운 일들이 그들에게 일어날 것이다. 그러면 그들은 '하나님께서 우리와 함께 계시지 않기 때문에 이런 무서운 일들이 일어나는 것이다'라고 말할 것이다.
18그들이 마음을 돌려 다른 신들을 섬기며 온갖 나쁜 일을 저지르므로 내가 내 얼굴을 그들에게 숨길 것이다.
19이제 이 노래를 적어서 이스라엘 백성에게 가르쳐 주어라. 이 노래를 그들의 입으로 부르게 하여 내가 내릴 무서운 일들의 증거로 삼게 하여라.
20내가 그들을 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 비옥한 땅, 곧 그들의 조상에게 약속한 땅으로 인도할 것이다. 그들은 배불리 먹고 살이 찔 것이다. 그러면 그들은 다른 신들에게 마음을 돌려 그들을 섬기며 나를 버리고 내 언약을 어길 것이다.
21그러면 그들에게 여러 가지 재앙과 무서운 일들이 일어날 것이다. 그 때에 이 노래가 그들에게 증거가 될 것이다. 그들의 자손이 이 노래를 잊지 않을 것이다. 아직 내가 약속한 땅으로 그들을 데려가지 않았지만 나는 그들이 무엇을 생각하고 있는지 이미 다 알고 있다."
22그리하여 모세는 그 날에 이 노래를 적어서 이스라엘 백성에게 가르쳐 주었습니다.
23여호와께서 눈의 아들 여호수아에게 명령하셨습니다. "마음을 굳세게 하고 용기를 내어라. 왜냐하면 너는 이스라엘 백성을 내가 약속한 땅으로 인도해야 하기 때문이다. 내가 너와 함께 하겠다."
24모세는 모든 가르침의 말씀을 책에 적었습니다.
25그리고 여호와의 언약궤를 메는 레위사람들에게 명령했습니다.
26"이 '율법의 책'을 여호와의 언약궤 옆에 놓아 두고, 여러분에게 증거가 되게 하시오.
27나는 여러분이 얼마나 고집이 세고 말을 안 듣는 사람들인지 다 알고 있소. 내가 살아서 여러분과 함께 있는데도 여호와께 복종하지 않았는데 내가 죽은 다음에는 얼마나 더 하겠소?
28모든 지파의 장로들과 관리들을 불러 모으시오. 내가 이 말씀을 그들의 귀에 들려 주겠소. 그리고 하늘과 땅을 증거자로 삼겠소.
29내가 죽은 다음에 여러분은 틀림없이 악한 일을 할 것이오. 내가 오늘 여러분에게 주는 명령을 어길 것이오. 그리하여 장차 여러분에게 무서운 일들이 일어나고야 말 것이오. 여러분은 여호와 보시기에 나쁜 짓을 하고 여러분이 만든 우상들 때문에 여호와를 화나게 만들 것이오."
30모세가 이 노래를 모든 이스라엘 백성에게 끝까지 들려 주었습니다.
