1After this, the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites came to make war on Jehoshaphat. |
1וַיְהִי אַחֲרֵיכֵן בָּאוּ בְנֵי־מֹואָב וּבְנֵי עַמֹּון וְעִמָּהֶם מֵהָעַמֹּונִים עַל־יְהֹושָׁפָט לַמִּלְחָמָה׃ |
|
2Some men came and told Jehoshaphat, 'A vast army is coming against you from Edom, from the other side of the Sea. It is already in Hazazon Tamar' (that is, En Gedi). |
2וַיָּבֹאוּ וַיַּגִּידוּ לִיהֹושָׁפָט לֵאמֹר בָּא עָלֶיךָ הָמֹון רָב מֵעֵבֶר לַיָּם מֵאֲרָם וְהִנָּם בְּחַצְצֹון תָּמָר הִיא עֵין גֶּדִי׃ |
|
3Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. |
3וַיִּרָא וַיִתֵּן יְהֹושָׁפָט אֶת־פָּנָיו לִדְרֹושׁ לַיהוָה וַיִּקְרָא־צֹום עַל־כָּל־יְהוּדָה׃ |
|
4The people of Judah came together to seek help from the LORD; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him. |
4וַיִּקָּבְצוּ יְהוּדָה לְבַקֵּשׁ מֵיְהוָה גַּם מִכָּל־עָרֵי יְהוּדָה בָּאוּ לְבַקֵּשׁ אֶת־יְהוָה׃ |

5Then Jehoshaphat stood up in the assembly of Judah and Jerusalem at the temple of the LORD in the front of the new courtyard |
5וַיַּעֲמֹד יְהֹושָׁפָט בִּקְהַל יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִַם בְּבֵית יְהוָה לִפְנֵי הֶחָצֵר הַחֲדָשָׁה׃ |

6and said: 'O LORD, God of our fathers, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. |
6וַיֹּאמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבֹתֵינוּ הֲלֹא אַתָּה־הוּא אֱלֹהִים בַּשָּׁמַיִם וְאַתָּה מֹושֵׁל בְּכֹל מַמְלְכֹות הַגֹּויִם וּבְיָדְךָ כֹּחַ וּגְבוּרָה וְאֵין עִמְּךָ לְהִתְיַצֵּב׃ |
|
7O our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? |
7הֲלֹא אַתָּה אֱלֹהֵינוּ הֹורַשְׁתָּ אֶת־יֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת מִלִּפְנֵי עַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל וַתִּתְּנָהּ לְזֶרַע אַבְרָהָם אֹהַבְךָ לְעֹולָם׃ |
|
8They have lived in it and have built in it a sanctuary for your Name, saying, |
8וַיֵּשְׁבוּ־בָהּ וַיִּבְנוּ לְךָ בָּהּ מִקְדָּשׁ לְשִׁמְךָ לֵאמֹר׃ |
|
9'If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.' |
9אִם־תָּבֹוא עָלֵינוּ רָעָה חֶרֶב שְׁפֹוט וְדֶבֶר וְרָעָב נַעַמְדָה לִפְנֵי הַבַּיִת הַזֶּה וּלְפָנֶיךָ כִּי שִׁמְךָ בַּבַּיִת הַזֶּה וְנִזְעַק אֵלֶיךָ מִצָּרָתֵנוּ וְתִשְׁמַע וְתֹושִׁיעַ׃ |
|
10'But now here are men from Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, whose territory you would not allow Israel to invade when they came from Egypt; so they turned away from them and did not destroy them. |
10וְעַתָּה הִנֵּה בְנֵי־עַמֹּון וּמֹואָב וְהַר־שֵׂעִיר אֲשֶׁר לֹא־נָתַתָּה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל לָבֹוא בָהֶם בְּבֹאָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם כִּי סָרוּ מֵעֲלֵיהֶם וְלֹא הִשְׁמִידוּם׃ |
|
11See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance. |
11וְהִנֵּה־הֵם גֹּמְלִים עָלֵינוּ לָבֹוא לְגָרְשֵׁנוּ מִיְּרֻשָּׁתְךָ אֲשֶׁר הֹורַשְׁתָּנוּ׃ |
|
12O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.' |
12אֱלֹהֵינוּ הֲלֹא תִשְׁפָּט־בָּם כִּי אֵין בָּנוּ כֹּחַ לִפְנֵי הֶהָמֹון הָרָב הַזֶּה הַבָּא עָלֵינוּ וַאֲנַחְנוּ לֹא נֵדַע מַה־נַּעֲשֶׂה כִּי עָלֶיךָ עֵינֵינוּ׃ |
|
13All the men of Judah, with their wives and children and little ones, stood there before the LORD. |
13וְכֹל־יְהוּדָה עֹמְדִים לִפְנֵי יְהוָה גַּם־טַפָּם נְשֵׁיהֶם וּבְנֵיהֶם׃ ף |
|
14Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite and descendant of Asaph, as he stood in the assembly. |
14וְיַחֲזִיאֵל בֶּן־זְכַרְיָהוּ בֶּן־בְּנָיָה בֶּן־יְעִיאֵל בֶּן־מַתַּנְיָה הַלֵּוִי מִן־בְּנֵי אָסָף הָיְתָה עָלָיו רוּחַ יְהוָה בְּתֹוךְ הַקָּהָל׃ |
|
15He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. |
15וַיֹּאמֶר הַקְשִׁיבוּ כָל־יְהוּדָה וְיֹשְׁבֵי יְרוּשָׁלִַם וְהַמֶּלֶךְ יְהֹושָׁפָט כֹּה־אָמַר יְהוָה לָכֶם אַתֶּם אַל־תִּירְאוּ וְאַל־תֵּחַתּוּ מִפְּנֵי הֶהָמֹון הָרָב הַזֶּה כִּי לֹא לָכֶם הַמִּלְחָמָה כִּי לֵאלֹהִים׃ |
|
16Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. |
16מָחָר רְדוּ עֲלֵיהֶם הִנָּם עֹלִים בְּמַעֲלֵה הַצִּיץ וּמְצָאתֶם אֹתָם בְּסֹוף הַנַּחַל פְּנֵי מִדְבַּר יְרוּאֵל׃ |
|
17You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.' " |
17לֹא לָכֶם לְהִלָּחֵם בָּזֹאת הִתְיַצְּבוּ עִמְדוּ וּרְאוּ אֶת־יְשׁוּעַת יְהוָה עִםָּכֶם יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִַם אַל־תִּירְאוּ וְאַל־תֵּחַתּוּ מָחָר צְאוּ לִפְנֵיהֶם וַיהוָה עִםָּכֶם׃ |

18Jehoshaphat bowed with his face to the ground, and all the people of Judah and Jerusalem fell down in worship before the LORD. |
18וַיִּקֹּד יְהֹושָׁפָט אַפַּיִם אָרְצָה וְכָל־יְהוּדָה וְיֹשְׁבֵי יְרוּשָׁלִַם נָפְלוּ לִפְנֵי יְהוָה לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹת לַיהוָה׃ |
|
19Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up and praised the LORD, the God of Israel, with very loud voice. |
19וַיָּקֻמוּ הַלְוִיִּם מִן־בְּנֵי הַקְּהָתִים וּמִן־בְּנֵי הַקָּרְחִים לְהַלֵּל לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּקֹול גָּדֹול לְמָעְלָה׃ |
|
20Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, 'Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the LORD your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.' |
20וַיַּשְׁכִּימוּ בַבֹּקֶר וַיֵּצְאוּ לְמִדְבַּר תְּקֹועַ וּבְצֵאתָם עָמַד יְהֹושָׁפָט וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמָעוּנִי יְהוּדָה וְיֹשְׁבֵי יְרוּשָׁלִַם הַאֲמִינוּ בַּיהוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם וְתֵאָמֵנוּ הַאֲמִינוּ בִנְבִיאָיו וְהַצְלִיחוּ׃ |
|
21After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: 'Give thanks to the LORD, for his love endures forever.' |
21וַיִּוָּעַץ אֶל־הָעָם וַיַּעֲמֵד מְשֹׁרֲרִים לַיהוָה וּמְהַלְלִים לְהַדְרַת־קֹדֶשׁ בְּצֵאת לִפְנֵי הֶחָלוּץ וְאֹמְרִים הֹודוּ לַיהוָה כִּי לְעֹולָם חַסְדֹּו׃ |
|
22As they began to sing and praise, the LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated. |
22וּבְעֵת הֵחֵלּוּ בְרִנָּה וּתְהִלָּה נָתַן יְהוָה מְאָרְבִים עַל־בְּנֵי עַמֹּון מֹואָב וְהַר־שֵׂעִיר הַבָּאִים לִיהוּדָה וַיִּנָּגֵפוּ׃ |
|
23The men of Ammon and Moab rose up against the men from Mount Seir to destroy and annihilate them. After they finished slaughtering the men from Seir, they helped to destroy one another. |
23וַיַּעַמְדוּ בְּנֵי עַמֹּון וּמֹואָב עַל־יֹשְׁבֵי הַר־שֵׂעִיר לְהַחֲרִים וּלְהַשְׁמִיד וּכְכַלֹּותָם בְּיֹושְׁבֵי שֵׂעִיר עָזְרוּ אִישׁ־בְּרֵעֵהוּ לְמַשְׁחִית׃ |
|
24When the men of Judah came to the place that overlooks the desert and looked toward the vast army, they saw only dead bodies lying on the ground; no one had escaped. |
24וִיהוּדָה בָּא עַל־הַמִּצְפֶּה לַמִּדְבָּר וַיִּפְנוּ אֶל־הֶהָמֹון וְהִנָּם פְּגָרִים נֹפְלִים אַרְצָה וְאֵין פְּלֵיטָה׃ |
|
25So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value-more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it. |
25וַיָּבֹא יְהֹושָׁפָט וְעַמֹּו לָבֹז אֶת־שְׁלָלָם וַיִּמְצְאוּ בָהֶם לָרֹב וּרְכוּשׁ וּפְגָרִים וּכְלֵי חֲמֻדֹות וַיְנַצְּלוּ לָהֶם לְאֵין מַשָּׂא וַיִּהְיוּ יָמִים שְׁלֹושָׁה בֹּזְזִים אֶת־הַשָּׁלָל כִּי רַב־הוּא׃ |
|
26On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Beracah, where they praised the LORD. This is why it is called the Valley of Beracah to this day. |
26וּבַיֹּום הָרְבִעִי נִקְהֲלוּ לְעֵמֶק בְּרָכָה כִּי־שָׁם בֵּרֲכוּ אֶת־יְהוָה עַל־כֵּן קָרְאוּ אֶת־שֵׁם הַמָּקֹום הַהוּא עֵמֶק בְּרָכָה עַד־הַיֹּום׃ |
|
27Then, led by Jehoshaphat, all the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned joyfully to Jerusalem, for the LORD had given them cause to rejoice over their enemies. |
27וַיָּשֻׁבוּ כָּל־אִישׁ יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִַם וִיהֹושָׁפָט בְּרֹאשָׁם לָשׁוּב אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלִַם בְּשִׂמְחָה כִּי־שִׂמְּחָם יְהוָה מֵאֹויְבֵיהֶם׃ |
|
28They entered Jerusalem and went to the temple of the LORD with harps and lutes and trumpets. |
28וַיָּבֹאוּ יְרוּשָׁלִַם בִּנְבָלִים וּבְכִנֹּרֹות וּבַחֲצֹצְרֹות אֶל־בֵּית יְהוָה׃ |
|
29The fear of God came upon all the kingdoms of the countries when they heard how the LORD had fought against the enemies of Israel. |
29וַיְהִי פַּחַד אֱלֹהִים עַל כָּל־מַמְלְכֹות הָאֲרָצֹות בְּשָׁמְעָם כִּי נִלְחַם יְהוָה עִם אֹויְבֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
|
30And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side. |
30וַתִּשְׁקֹט מַלְכוּת יְהֹושָׁפָט וַיָּנַח לֹו אֱלֹהָיו מִסָּבִיב׃ ף |
|
31So Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah. He was thirty-five years old when he became king of Judah, and he reigned in Jerusalem twenty-five years. His mother's name was Azubah daughter of Shilhi. |
31וַיִּמְלֹךְ יְהֹושָׁפָט עַל־יְהוּדָה בֶּן־שְׁלֹשִׁים וְחָמֵשׁ שָׁנָה בְּמָלְכֹו וְעֶשְׂרִים וְחָמֵשׁ שָׁנָה מָלַךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִַם וְשֵׁם אִמֹּו עֲזוּבָה בַּת־שִׁלְחִי׃ |
|
32He walked in the ways of his father Asa and did not stray from them; he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD. |
32וַיֵּלֶךְ בְּדֶרֶךְ אָבִיו אָסָא וְלֹא־סָר מִמֶּנָּה לַעֲשֹׂות הַיָּשָׁר בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה׃ |
|
33The high places, however, were not removed, and the people still had not set their hearts on the God of their fathers. |
33אַךְ הַבָּמֹות לֹא־סָרוּ וְעֹוד הָעָם לֹא־הֵכִינוּ לְבָבָם לֵאלֹהֵי אֲבֹתֵיהֶם׃ |

34The other events of Jehoshaphat's reign, from beginning to end, are written in the annals of Jehu son of Hanani, which are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel. |
34וְיֶתֶר דִּבְרֵי יְהֹושָׁפָט הָרִאשֹׁנִים וְהָאַחֲרֹנִים הִנָּם כְּתוּבִים בְּדִבְרֵי יֵהוּא בֶן־חֲנָנִי אֲשֶׁר הֹעֲלָה עַל־סֵפֶר מַלְכֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ |
|
35Later, Jehoshaphat king of Judah made an alliance with Ahaziah king of Israel, who was guilty of wickedness. |
35וְאַחֲרֵיכֵן אֶתְחַבַּר יְהֹושָׁפָט מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה עִם אֲחַזְיָה מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא הִרְשִׁיעַ לַעֲשֹׂות׃ |

36He agreed with him to construct a fleet of trading ships. After these were built at Ezion Geber, |
36וַיְחַבְּרֵהוּ עִמֹּו לַעֲשֹׂות אֳנִיֹּות לָלֶכֶת תַּרְשִׁישׁ וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֳנִיֹּות בְּעֶצְיֹון גָּבֶר׃ |
|
37Eliezer son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, 'Because you have made an alliance with Ahaziah, the LORD will destroy what you have made.' The ships were wrecked and were not able to set sail to trade. |
37וַיִּתְנַבֵּא אֱלִיעֶזֶר בֶּן־דֹּדָוָהוּ מִמָּרֵשָׁה עַל־יְהֹושָׁפָט לֵאמֹר כְּהִתְחַבֶּרְךָ עִם־אֲחַזְיָהוּ פָּרַץ יְהוָה אֶת־מַעֲשֶׂיךָ וַיִּשָּׁבְרוּ אֳנִיֹּות וְלֹא עָצְרוּ לָלֶכֶת אֶל־תַּרְשִׁישׁ׃ |
1그 후에 모압 자손과 암몬 자손들이 마온 사람들과 함께 와서 여호사밧을 치고자 한지라
2어떤 사람이 와서 여호사밧에게 전하여 이르되 큰 무리가 바다 저쪽 아람에서 왕을 치러 오는데 이제 하사손다말 곧 엔게디에 있나이다 하니
3여호사밧이 두려워하여 여호와께로 낯을 향하여 간구하고 온 유다 백성에게 금식하라 공포하매
4유다 사람이 여호와께 도우심을 구하려 하여 유다 모든 성읍에서 모여와서 여호와께 간구하더라
5여호사밧이 여호와의 전 새 뜰 앞에서 유다와 예루살렘의 회중 가운데 서서
6이르되 우리 조상들의 하나님 여호와여 주는 하늘에서 하나님이 아니시니이까 이방 사람들의 모든 나라를 다스리지 아니하시나이까 주의 손에 권세와 능력이 있사오니 능히 주와 맞설 사람이 없나이다
7우리 하나님이시여 전에 이 땅 주민을 주의 백성 이스라엘 앞에서 쫓아내시고 그 땅을 주께서 사랑하시는 아브라함의 자손에게 영원히 주지 아니하셨나이까
8그들이 이 땅에 살면서 주의 이름을 위하여 한 성소를 주를 위해 건축하고 이르기를
9만일 재앙이나 난리나 견책이나 전염병이나 기근이 우리에게 임하면 주의 이름이 이 성전에 있으니 우리가 이 성전 앞과 주 앞에 서서 이 환난 가운데에서 주께 부르짖은즉 들으시고 구원하시리라 하였나이다
10옛적에 이스라엘이 애굽 땅에서 나올 때에 암몬 자손과 모압 자손과 세일산 사람들을 침노하기를 주께서 용납하지 아니하시므로 이에 돌이켜 그들을 떠나고 멸하지 아니하였거늘
11이제 그들이 우리에게 갚는 것을 보옵소서 그들이 와서 주께서 우리에게 주신 주의 기업에서 우리를 쫓아내고자 하나이다
12우리 하나님이여 그들을 징벌하지 아니하시나이까 우리를 치러 오는 이 큰 무리를 우리가 대적할 능력이 없고 어떻게 할 줄도 알지 못하옵고 오직 주만 바라보나이다 하고
13유다 모든 사람들이 그들의 아내와 자녀와 어린이와 더불어 여호와 앞에 섰더라
14여호와의 영이 회중 가운데에서 레위사람 야하시엘에게 임하셨으니 그는 아삽 자손 맛다냐의 현손이요 여이엘의 증손이요 브나야의 손자요 스가랴의 아들이더라
15야하시엘이 이르되 온 유다와 예루살렘주민과 여호사밧 왕이여 들을지어다 여호와께서 이같이 너희에게 말씀하시기를 너희는 이 큰 무리로 말미암아 두려워하거나 놀라지 말라 이 전쟁은 너희에게 속한 것이 아니요 하나님께 속한 것이니라
16내일 너희는 그들에게로 내려가라 그들이 시스 고개로 올라올 때에 너희가 골짜기 어귀 여루엘 들 앞에서 그들을 만나려니와
17이 전쟁에는 너희가 싸울 것이 없나니 대열을 이루고 서서 너희와 함께 한 여호와가 구원하는 것을 보라 유다와 예루살렘아 너희는 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말고 내일 그들을 맞서 나가라 여호와가 너희와 함께 하리라 하셨느니라 하매
18여호사밧이 몸을 굽혀 얼굴을 땅에 대니 온 유다와 예루살렘 주민들도 여호와 앞에 엎드려 여호와께 경배하고
19그핫 자손과 고라 자손에게 속한 레위사람들은 서서 심히 큰 소리로 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 찬송하니라
20이에 백성들이 아침에 일찍이 일어나서 드고아 들로 나가니라 나갈 때에 여호사밧이 서서 이르되 유다와 예루살렘 주민들아 내 말을 들을지어다 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와를 신뢰하라 그리하면 견고히 서리라 그의 선지자들을 신뢰하라 그리하면 형통하리라 하고
21백성과 더불어 의논하고 노래하는 자들을 택하여 거룩한 예복을 입히고 군대 앞에서 행진하며 여호와를 찬송하여 이르기를 여호와께 감사하세 그의 인자하심이 영원하도다 하게 하였더니
22그 노래와 찬송이 시작될 때에 여호와께서 복병을 두어 유다를 치러 온 암몬 자손과 모압과 세일 산 주민들을 치게 하시므로 그들이 패하였으니
23곧 암몬과 모압 자손이 일어나 세일산 주민들을 쳐서 진멸하고 세일 주민들을 멸한 후에는 그들이 서로 쳐죽였더라
24유다 사람이 들 망대에 이르러 그 무리를 본즉 땅에 엎드러진 시체들뿐이요 한 사람도 피한 자가 없는지라
25여호사밧과 그의 백성이 가서 적군의 물건을 탈취할새 본즉 그 가운데에 재물과 의복과 보물이 많이 있으므로 각기 탈취하는데 그 물건이 너무 많아 능히 가져갈 수 없을 만큼 많으므로 사흘 동안에 거두어들이고
26넷째 날에 무리가 브라가 골짜기에 모여서 거기서 여호와를 송축한지라 그러므로 오늘날까지 그 곳을 브라가 골짜기라 일컫더라
27유다와 예루살렘 모든 사람이 다시 여호사밧을 선두로 하여 즐겁게 예루살렘으로 돌아왔으니 이는 여호와께서 그들이 그 적군을 이김으로써 즐거워하게 하셨음이라
28그들이 비파와 수금과 나팔을 합주하고 예루살렘에 이르러 여호와의 전에 나아가니라
29이방 모든 나라가 여호와께서 이스라엘의 적군을 치셨다 함을 듣고 하나님을 두려워하므로
30여호사밧의 나라가 태평하였으니 이는 그의 하나님이 사방에서 그들에게 평강을 주셨음이더라
31여호사밧이 유다의 왕이 되어 왕위에 오를 때에 나이가 삼십오 세라 예루살렘에서 이십오 년 동안 다스리니라 그의 어머니의 이름은 아수바라 실히의 딸이더라
32여호사밧이 그의 아버지 아사의 길로 행하여 돌이켜 떠나지 아니하고 여호와 보시기에 정직하게 행하였으나
33산당만은 철거하지 아니하였으므로 백성이 여전히 마음을 정하여 그들의 조상들의 하나님께로 돌아오지 아니하였더라
34이 외에 여호사밧의 시종 행적은 하나니의 아들 예후의 글에 다 기록되었고 그 글은 이스라엘 열왕기에 올랐더라
35유다 왕 여호사밧이 나중에 이스라엘 왕 아하시야와 교제하였는데 아하시야는 심히 악을 행하는 자였더라
36두 왕이 서로 연합하고 배를 만들어 다시스로 보내고자 하여 에시온게벨에서 배를 만들었더니
37마레사 사람 도다와후의 아들 엘리에셀이 여호사밧을 향하여 예언하여 이르되 왕이 아하시야와 교제하므로 여호와께서 왕이 지은 것들을 파하시리라 하더니 이에 그 배들이 부서져서 다시스로 가지 못하였더라
