나의 창조주요 구원의 주가 되시는, 오 하나님,
오늘 주님의 은총과 함께 하지 않고는 아무 데도 나가지 않게 하소서.
이 아침의 생기와 신선함, 건강, 번창하는 사업에 속아 제 힘을 헛되이 의지하지 않게 하옵소서.
이 모든 귀한 선물이 당신으로부터 왔음을 고백합니다.
이것은 본래 주님이 것이었고 지금도 주님이 것이며,
결코 제가 움켜쥐어야 할 것들이 아님을 압니다.
오직 주님을 신뢰하며 소유하겠습니다.
공급자이신 주님을 한결같이 의지할 때 이 모든 선물을 온전히 누릴 줄 믿습니다.
그러니 주께서 제게 주신 모든 것을 다시 주님의 손에 맡깁니다.
제 몸과 마음의 모든 힘, 그리고 제 모든 재물과 다른 사람을 향한 제 모든 영향력까지 다시 주님을 섬기는 데 바칩니다.
오 아버지, 주님 뜻대로 사용하여 주옵소서.
오 그리스도시여, 다 주님의 것입니다.
오 성령님이시여, 다 주님의 것입니다.
오늘 제가 하는 말들 위에 말씀하시고,
제 생각을 주님의 생각으로 덧입혀주시고
제 모든 행동들 속에 함께 하옵소서.
이렇게 연약한 인간 도구일지라도 세상을 향한 주님이 위대한 목적을 성취하는 데 사용하시는 은혜로운 뜻을 아오니,
오늘 제 하루의 삶이 주님께서 제 이웃에게 베푸시는 한 조각 사랑과 자비의 통로가 되게 하옵소서.
오 하나님, 당신의 엄위하신 임재 안에서 제 친구들과 이웃들과 특별히 이 도시의 가난한 자들을 기억하오니 주께서 제게 은혜를 베푸시어 제가 주님의 이름으로 그들을 섬기게 하옵소서.
오 찬양받으실 예수님, 인간들을 구속하시려고 가장 고귀한 생명을 내놓으신 주님, 안락이나 쾌락이나 세상적인 부요는 단 한순간도 생각하지 않으시고 때마다 시마다 자기를 부인하는 사랑으로 채우신 주님, 오늘 주께서 먼저 걸어가신 그 길을 따를 수 있도록 제게 은혜를 베풀어 주옵소서. 영원히 끝날까지 주의 이름에 영광과 찬송이 있기를 원합니다. 아멘.
God my Creator and Redeemer, I will be able to go forward today only if You accompany me with Your blessing. Let not the vigor and freshness of the morning, or the glow of good health, or the present prosperity of my undertakings, deceive me into a false reliance upon my own strength. All these good gifts have come to me from You. They were Yours to give and they are Yours also to take away. They are not mine to keep. I only hold them in trust, and only by depending on You, the Giver, can they be truly enjoyed.
Let me then put back into Your hand all that You have given me, rededicating to Your service all the powers of my mind and body, all my worldly things, and all my influence with others. All these, O Father, are Yours to use as You will. All these are Yours, O Christ. All these are Yours, O Holy Spirit. Speak in my words today, think in my thoughts, and work in all my deeds. And seeing that it is Your gracious will to make use even of such weak human instruments in fulfilling Your mighty purpose for the world, let my life today be the channel through which some little portion of Your divine love and compassion may reach the lives that are nearest to my own.
In Your solemn presence, O God, I remember all my friends and neighbors, the people of my city, and especially the poor living among us, asking that You would give me grace, so far as in me lies, to serve them in Your name.
O blessed Jesus, who used Your own most precious life for the redemption of Your human brothers and sisters, giving no thought to ease or pleasure or worldly riches, but filling up all Your hours and days with deeds of self-denying love, give me grace today to follow the road You first walked; and to Your name be all the glory and praise, forever and ever. Amen.
나의 창조자와 구속자가 되신 하나님, 오늘도 나로 하여금 복을 내려주시는 당신과 동행하게 하소서. 이 아침의 활기와 신선함, 강건함과 일의 잘됨이 나의 능력에 대한 잘못된 의존에 빠지지 않게 하소서. 이 모든 좋은 선물들은 다 당신으로부터 온 것입니다. 이것들은 다 당신의 것이니 주실 수도 있고 거두실 수도 있습니다. 이것은 내가 간직할 소유가 아니며 단지 보관하고 있을 뿐이며, 주시는 자 당신만을 의지함으로 가치 있게 즐길 수 있을 뿐입니다.

하나님, 당신의 엄위하신 임재 안에서 나는 모든 친구들과 이웃들과 특별히 내 문안에 거하는 가난한 이들을 기억합니다. 내가 당신의 이름으로 최선을 다해 그들을 섬기기 위하여 은혜를 베풀어 주옵소서.
복되신 예수님, 당신은 안일함이나 괘락이나 세상적인 부요함을 생각지 않으시고 자기부정의 사랑으로 모든 시간을 채우시며 인간의 구원을 위해 소중한 생명을 바치셨습니다. 당신이 걸어가신 길을 따라가는 나에게 오늘도 은혜를 베풀어 주소서. 당신의 이름이 영광과 찬양을 영원히 받으소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도하옵니다. 아멘.
