모든 선의 근원이 되시는 거룩하신 아버지.
믿음과 소망과 자비의 은혜들이 날마다 제 안에서 좀 더 확고하게 자리를 잡게 하옵소서.
오 하나님, 제가 믿습니다.
주께서 지혜와 의로 만물을 통치하심을,
제가 당신의 뜻에 온전히 순종하도록 요구하심을,
예수 그리스도 안에서 죄로부터 건짐 받는 구원의 길을 보여주셨음을,
제가 진실로 회개하면 주님께서 기꺼이 용서하시고 구원하실 것을 믿습니다.
오 하나님, 제가 소망합니다.
날마다 베푸시는 주의 자비가 언제까지든 지속되기를,
날이 갈수록 죄가 제 의지를 붙잡는 힘이 약해지기를,
날마다 제가 은혜와 참된 거룩함 가운데 성장하기를,
이 땅의 삶이 끝날 때 좀 더 온전하게 거룩해지기를,
주님이 저를 아시는 것같이 저도 알게 된 날을 소망합니다.
오 하나님, 제가 주님을 사랑합니다.
사랑으로 저를 창조하시고 지금도 저를 사랑으로 보전하시는 사랑이신 당신을,
저를 향한 많은 사랑으로 아들을 보내셔서 고난을 받고 죽게 하시어
제가 주와 함께 살 수 있도록 하신 당신을,
그리고 이제 주님을 위해 이웃을 사랑함으로써
당신을 향한 제 사랑을 보이라고 명령하신 당신을 사랑합니다.
오 하나님, 저의 믿음 없음을 도와 주옵소서.
좀 더 인내하며 소망을 붙잡게 하시고,
좀 더 지속적으로 사랑하게 하옵소서.
믿으면서 사랑하게 하시고,
사랑하면서 믿게 하시고 사랑하고 믿으면서,
더욱 온전한 사랑과 더욱 흔들림 없는 믿음을 소망하게 하옵소서.

Holy Father, you make everything that is good. The graceful gifts that Christ gives us: faith, hope and charity — make these stronger and stronger within me every day.
God, I believe:
that you wisely and righteously rule all things
that you have chosen me to be your loyal servant
that you have the right to demand that I submit completely to your will
that in Jesus Christ you have shown me a way of salvation that saves me from my sins
that if I truly express regret over my sin, you are willing to pardon me and save me
God, I hope:
for your daily mercy toward me
for how you'll lessen sin's hold over my will
for my growth in grace and in true holiness from day to day
for a more perfect holiness, when one day I leave this earth
for a day when I shall know even as also I am known
God, I love you:
you, who are yourself love
you, who lovingly created me and lovingly keep me going
you, who loved me so greatly that you sent your Son to suffer and die, so that I could live with you
you, who commands that I show my love to you by loving my neighbor for your sake
God, help me from my unbelief! Give me greater patience, the patience that comes from my hope in you. Make me more consistent in my love. In loving, let me believe. In believing, let me love. And as I love you and believe in you, let me hope for a more perfect love and a more steady faith, all possible through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.

당신께서는 모든 것을 지혜와 공의로 다스리시고
나를 충성된 종으로 부르시고
나에게 주님의 뜻에 완전히 따를 것을 정당하게 요구하시고
예수 그리스도 안에서 내가 죄에서 건짐을 받는 구원의 길을 보이시고
내가 참으로 회개할 때 나를 용서하시고 또 구하심을 믿습니다.
오 하나님, 나는 소망합니다.
당신의 날마다의 긍휼이 나에게 계속되기를
나의 의지를 결박하는 죄의 능력이 감소되기를
날마다 은혜와 참된 거룩 안에서 성장하기를
세상을 마치는 날 더 완전한 거룩을
주께서 나를 아시는 것 같이 내가 완전히 주님을 알 날을 소망합니다.
오 하나님, 사랑합니다.
사랑의 본체이신 당신을
사랑으로 나를 창조하시고 또한 사랑으로 나를 보존하시는 분
나로 하여금 당신과 더불어 있게 하시기 위해
그 아들을 보내시고 고통과 아픔을 맛보게 하시기까지 나를 사랑하시는 분
당신으로 인하여 이웃을 사랑함으로써
당신께 드리는 나의 사랑을 보이라고 명령하신 하나님을 나는 사랑합니다.
하나님, 나의 불신앙을 도와주시고 나의 소망에 더 큰 인내를 주소서. 나의 사랑을 변함없게 하소서. 사랑 속에서 믿게 하시고, 믿음 속에서 사랑하게 하시고, 사랑과 믿음 속에서 더 완 완전한 사랑과 변함없는 믿음을 소망하게 하소서. 나의 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도하옵나이다. 아멘.
Holy Father, from whom alone all good proceedeth, let the Christian graces of faith, hope, and charity be every day more firmly established within me.
O God, I believe —
that Thou rulest all things in wisdom and in righteousness:
that Thou hast called me to be Thy loyal servant:
that Thou dost rightfully demand of me complete subservience to Thy will:
that in Jesus Christ Thou hast shown me a way of salvation whereby I may be delivered from my sins:
that if I truly repent, Thou art willing to pardon and save me.
O God, I hope —
for the continuance of Thy daily mercies:
for the lessening of sin's hold upon my will:
for my growth in grace and in true holiness from day to day:
for a more perfect holiness, when earthly days are done:
for a day when I shall know even as also I am known.
O God, I love Thee —
who Thyself art love:
who in love didst create me and in love dost still preserve me:
who didst so love me as to send Thy Son to suffer and to die that I might live with Thee:
who hast commanded me to show my love to Thee by loving my neighbour for Thy sake.
Help Thou mine unbelief, O God, give me greater patience in my hope, and make me more constant in my love. In loving let me believe and in believing let me love; and in loving and in believing let me hope for a more perfect love and a more unwavering faith, through Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.
