1All Israel was listed in the genealogies recorded in the book of the kings of Israel. The people of Judah were taken captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness. |
1וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל הִתְיַחְשׂוּ וְהִנָּם כְּתוּבִים עַל־סֵפֶר מַלְכֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וִיהוּדָה הָגְלוּ לְבָבֶל בְּמַעֲלָם׃ ס |

2Now the first to resettle on their own property in their own towns were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants. |
2וְהַיֹּושְׁבִים הָרִאשֹׁנִים אֲשֶׁר בַּאֲחֻזָּתָם בְּעָרֵיהֶם יִשְׂרָאֵל הַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם וְהַנְּתִינִים׃ |

3Those from Judah, from Benjamin, and from Ephraim and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem were: |
3וּבִירוּשָׁלִַם יָשְׁבוּ מִן־בְּנֵי יְהוּדָה וּמִן־בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן וּמִן־בְּנֵי אֶפְרַיִם וּמְנַשֶּׁה׃ |

4Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah. |
4עוּתַי בֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד בֶּן־עָמְרִי בֶּן־אִמְרִי בֶן־[כ= בָּנִימִן] [ק= בָּנִי] [ק= מִן]־בְּנֵי־פֶרֶץ בֶּן־יְהוּדָה׃ |

5Of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons. |
5וּמִן־הַשִּׁילֹונִי עֲשָׂיָה הַבְּכֹור וּבָנָיו׃ |

6Of the Zerahites: Jeuel. The people from Judah numbered 690. |
6וּמִן־בְּנֵי־זֶרַח יְעוּאֵל וַאֲחֵיהֶם שֵׁשׁ־מֵאֹות וְתִשְׁעִים׃ |

7Of the Benjamites: Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah; |
7וּמִן־בְּנֵי בִּנְיָמִן סַלּוּא בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־הֹודַוְיָה בֶּן־הַסְּנֻאָה׃ |

8Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Micri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah. |
8וְיִבְנְיָה בֶּן־יְרֹחָם וְאֵלָה בֶן־עֻזִּי בֶּן־מִכְרִי וּמְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־שְׁפַטְיָה בֶּן־רְעוּאֵל בֶּן־יִבְנִיָּה׃ |

9The people from Benjamin, as listed in their genealogy, numbered 956. All these men were heads of their families. |
9וַאֲחֵיהֶם לְתֹלְדֹותָם תְּשַׁע מֵאֹות וַחֲמִשִּׁים וְשִׁשָּׁה כָּל־אֵלֶּה אֲנָשִׁים רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות לְבֵית אֲבֹתֵיהֶם׃ ס |

10Of the priests: Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jakin; |
10וּמִן־הַכֹּהֲנִים יְדַעְיָה וִיהֹויָרִיב וְיָכִין׃ |
|
11Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the official in charge of the house of God; |
11וַעֲזַרְיָה בֶן־חִלְקִיָּה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־צָדֹוק בֶּן־מְרָיֹות בֶּן־אֲחִיטוּב נְגִיד בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים׃ ס |

12Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malkijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer. |
12וַעֲדָיָה בֶּן־יְרֹחָם בֶּן־פַּשְׁחוּר בֶּן־מַלְכִּיָּה וּמַעְשַׂי בֶּן־עֲדִיאֵל בֶּן־יַחְזֵרָה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּם בֶּן־מְשִׁלֵּמִית בֶּן־אִמֵּר׃ |

13The priests, who were heads of families, numbered 1,760. They were able men, responsible for ministering in the house of God. |
13וַאֲחֵיהֶם רָאשִׁים לְבֵית אֲבֹותָם אֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע מֵאֹות וְשִׁשִּׁים גִּבֹּורֵי חֵיל מְלֶאכֶת עֲבֹודַת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִים׃ |

14Of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a Merarite; |
14וּמִן־הַלְוִיִּם שְׁמַעְיָה בֶן־חַשּׁוּב בֶּן־עַזְרִיקָם בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָה מִן־בְּנֵי מְרָרִי׃ |

15Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal and Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zicri, the son of Asaph; |
15וּבַקְבַּקַּר חֶרֶשׁ וְגָלָל וּמַתַּנְיָה בֶּן־מִיכָא בֶּן־זִכְרִי בֶּן־אָסָף׃ |

16Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites. |
16וְעֹבַדְיָה בֶּן־שְׁמַעְיָה בֶּן־גָּלָל בֶּן־יְדוּתוּן וּבֶרֶכְיָה בֶן־אָסָא בֶּן־אֶלְקָנָה הַיֹּושֵׁב בְּחַצְרֵי נְטֹופָתִי׃ |

17The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their brothers, Shallum their chief |
17וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִים שַׁלּוּם וְעַקּוּב וְטַלְמֹן וַאֲחִימָן וַאֲחִיהֶם שַׁלּוּם הָרֹאשׁ׃ |

18being stationed at the King's Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites. |
18וְעַד־הֵנָּה בְּשַׁעַר הַמֶּלֶךְ מִזְרָחָה הֵמָּה הַשֹּׁעֲרִים לְמַחֲנֹות בְּנֵי לֵוִי׃ |

19Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the Tent just as their fathers had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD. |
19וְשַׁלּוּם בֶּן־קֹורֵא בֶּן־אֶבְיָסָף בֶּן־קֹרַח* וְאֶחָיו לְבֵית־אָבִיו הַקָּרְחִים עַל מְלֶאכֶת הָעֲבֹודָה שֹׁמְרֵי הַסִּפִּים לָאֹהֶל וַאֲבֹתֵיהֶם עַל־מַחֲנֵה יְהוָה שֹׁמְרֵי הַמָּבֹוא׃ |
|
20In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar was in charge of the gatekeepers, and the LORD was with him. |
20וּפִינְחָס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָר נָגִיד הָיָה עֲלֵיהֶם לְפָנִים יְהוָה עִמֹּו׃ |
|
21Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. |
21זְכַרְיָה בֶּן מְשֶׁלֶמְיָה שֹׁעֵר פֶּתַח לְאֹהֶל מֹועֵד׃ |
|
22Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer. |
22כֻּלָּם הַבְּרוּרִים לְשֹׁעֲרִים בַּסִּפִּים מָאתַיִם וּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר הֵמָּה בְחַצְרֵיהֶם הִתְיַחְשָׂם הֵמָּה יִסַּד דָּוִיד וּשְׁמוּאֵל הָרֹאֶה בֶּאֱמוּנָתָם׃ |
|
23They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the LORD-the house called the Tent. |
23וְהֵם וּבְנֵיהֶם עַל־הַשְּׁעָרִים לְבֵית־יְהוָה לְבֵית־הָאֹהֶל לְמִשְׁמָרֹות׃ |

24The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south. |
24לְאַרְבַּע רוּחֹות יִהְיוּ הַשֹּׁעֲרִים מִזְרָח יָמָּה צָפֹונָה וָנֶגְבָּה׃ |
|
25Their brothers in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven-day periods. |
25וַאֲחֵיהֶם בְּחַצְרֵיהֶם לָבֹוא לְשִׁבְעַת הַיָּמִים מֵעֵת אֶל־עֵת עִם־אֵלֶּה׃ |
|
26But the four principal gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the responsibility for the rooms and treasuries in the house of God. |
26כִּי בֶאֱמוּנָה הֵמָּה אַרְבַּעַת גִּבֹּרֵי הַשֹּׁעֲרִים הֵם הַלְוִיִּם וְהָיוּ עַל־הַלְּשָׁכֹות וְעַל הָאֹצְרֹות בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים׃ |
|
27They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key for opening it each morning. |
27וּסְבִיבֹות בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִים יָלִינוּ כִּי־עֲלֵיהֶם מִשְׁמֶרֶת וְהֵם עַל־הַמַּפְתֵּחַ וְלַבֹּקֶר לַבֹּקֶר׃ |
|
28Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out. |
28וּמֵהֶם עַל־כְּלֵי הָעֲבֹודָה כִּי־בְמִסְפָּר יְבִיאוּם וּבְמִסְפָּר יֹוצִיאוּם׃ |

29Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the flour and wine, and the oil, incense and spices. |
29וּמֵהֶם מְמֻנִּים עַל־הַכֵּלִים וְעַל כָּל־כְּלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְעַל־הַסֹּלֶת וְהַיַּיִן וְהַשֶּׁמֶן וְהַלְּבֹונָה וְהַבְּשָׂמִים׃ |
|
30But some of the priests took care of mixing the spices. |
30וּמִן־בְּנֵי הַכֹּהֲנִים רֹקְחֵי הַמִּרְקַחַת לַבְּשָׂמִים׃ |
|
31A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread. |
31וּמַתִּתְיָה מִן־הַלְוִיִּם הוּא הַבְּכֹור לְשַׁלֻּם הַקָּרְחִי בֶּאֱמוּנָה עַל מַעֲשֵׂה הַחֲבִתִּים׃ |
|
32Some of their Kohathite brothers were in charge of preparing for every Sabbath the bread set out on the table. |
32וּמִן־בְּנֵי הַקְּהָתִי מִן־אֲחֵיהֶם עַל־לֶחֶם הַמַּעֲרָכֶת לְהָכִין שַׁבַּת שַׁבָּת׃ ס |
|
33Those who were musicians, heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night. |
33וְאֵלֶּה הַמְשֹׁרְרִים רָאשֵׁי אָבֹות לַלְוִיִּם בַּלְּשָׁכֹת [כ= פְּטִירִים] [ק= פְּטוּרִים] כִּי־יֹוםָם וָלַיְלָה עֲלֵיהֶם בַּמְּלָאכָה׃ |
|
34All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem. |
34אֵלֶּה רָאשֵׁי הָאָבֹות לַלְוִיִּם לְתֹלְדֹותָם רָאשִׁים אֵלֶּה יָשְׁבוּ בִירוּשָׁלִָם׃ ף |

35Jeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah, |
35וּבְגִבְעֹון יָשְׁבוּ אֲבִי־גִבְעֹון [כ= יְעוּאֵל] [ק= יְעִיאֵל] וְשֵׁם אִשְׁתֹּו מַעֲכָה׃ |
|
36and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, |
36וּבְנֹו הַבְּכֹור עַבְדֹּון וְצוּר וְקִישׁ וּבַעַל וְנֵר וְנָדָב׃ |
|
37Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth. |
37וּגְדֹור וְאַחְיֹו וּזְכַרְיָה וּמִקְלֹות׃ |
|
38Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem. |
38וּמִקְלֹות* הֹולִיד אֶת־שִׁמְאָם וְאַף־הֵם נֶגֶד אֲחֵיהֶם יָשְׁבוּ בִירוּשָׁלִַם עִם־אֲחֵיהֶם׃ ס |
|
39Ner was the father of Kish, Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal. |
39וְנֵר הֹולִיד אֶת־קִישׁ וְקִישׁ הֹולִיד אֶת־שָׁאוּל וְשָׁאוּל הֹולִיד אֶת־יְהֹונָתָן וְאֶת־מַלְכִּי־שׁוּעַ וְאֶת־אֲבִינָדָב וְאֶת־אֶשְׁבָּעַל׃ |
|
40The son of Jonathan: Merib-Baal, who was the father of Micah. |
40וּבֶן־יְהֹונָתָן מְרִיב בָּעַל וּמְרִי־בַעַל הֹולִיד אֶת־מִיכָה׃ |
|
41The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea and Ahaz. |
41וּבְנֵי מִיכָה פִּיתֹון וָמֶלֶךְ וְתַחְרֵעַ׃ |
|
42Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza. |
42וְאָחָז הֹולִיד אֶת־יַעְרָה וְיַעְרָה הֹולִיד אֶת־עָלֶמֶת וְאֶת־עַזְמָוֶת וְאֶת־זִמְרִי וְזִמְרִי הֹולִיד אֶת־מֹוצָא׃ |
|
43Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son. |
43וּמֹוצָא הֹולִיד אֶת־בִּנְעָא וּרְפָיָה בְנֹו אֶלְעָשָׂה בְנֹו אָצֵל בְּנֹו׃ |

44Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel. |
44וּלְאָצֵל שִׁשָּׁה בָנִים וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמֹותָם עַזְרִיקָם בֹּכְרוּ וְיִשְׁמָעֵאל וּשְׁעַרְיָה וְעֹבַדְיָה וְחָןָן אֵלֶּה בְּנֵי אָצַל׃ ף

1온 이스라엘이 그 계보대로 계수되어 그들은 이스라엘 왕조실록에 기록되니라 유다가 범죄함으로 말미암아 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 갔더니
2그들의 땅 안에 있는 성읍에 처음으로 거주한 이스라엘 사람들은 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 느디님 사람들이라
3유다 자손과 베냐민 자손과 에브라임과 므낫세 자손 중에서 예루살렘에 거주한 자는
4유다의 아들 베레스 자손 중에 우대이니 그는 암미훗의 아들이요 오므리의 손자요 이므리의 증손이요 바니의 현손이며
5실로 사람 중에서는 맏아들 아사야와 그의 아들들이요
6세라 자손 중에서는 여우엘과 그 형제육백구십 명이요
7베냐민 자손 중에서는 핫스누아의 증손 호다위아의 손자 므술람의 아들 살루요
8여로함의 아들 이브느야와 미그리의 손자 웃시의 아들 엘라요 이브니야의 증손 르우엘의 손자 스바댜의 아들 무술람이요
9또 그의 형제들이라 그들의 계보대로 계수하면 구백오십육 명이니 다 종족의 가문의 우두머리들이더라
10제사장 중에서는 여다야와 여호야립과 야긴과
11하나님의 성전을 맡은 자 아사랴이니 그는 힐기야의 아들이요 므술람의 손자요 사독의 증손이요 므라욧의 현손이요 아히둡의 오대손이며
12또 아다야이니 그는 여로함의 아들이요 바스훌의 손자요 말기야의 증손이며 또 마아새니 그는 아디엘의 아들이요 야세라의 손자요 므술람의 증손이요 므실레밋의 현손이요 임멜의 오대손이며
13또 그의 형제들이니 종족의 가문의 우두머리라 하나님의 성전의 임무를 수행할 힘있는 자는 모두 천칠백육십 명이더라
14레위 사람 중에서는 므라리 자손 스마야이니 그는 핫숩의 아들이요 아스리감의 손자요 하사뱌의 증손이며
15또 박박갈과 헤레스와 갈랄과 맛다냐이니 그는 미가의 아들이요 시그리의 손자요 아삽의 증손이며
16또 오바댜이니 그는 스마야의 아들이요 갈랄의 손자요 여두둔의 증손이며 또 베레갸이니 그는 아사의 아들이요 엘가나의 손자라 느도바 사람의 마을에 거주하였더라
17문지기는 살룸과 악굽과 달몬과 아히만과 그의 형제들이니 살룸은 그 우두머리라
18이 사람들은 전에 왕의 문 동쪽 곧 레위 자손의 진영의 문지기이며
19고라의 증손 에비아삽의 손자 고레의 아들 살룸과 그의 종족 형제 곧 고라의 자손이 수종 드는 일을 맡아 성막문들을 지켰으니 그들의 조상들도 여호와의 진영을 맡고 출입문을 지켰으며
20여호와께서 함께 하신 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 옛적에 그의 무리를 거느렸고
21므셀레먀의 아들 스가랴는 회막 문지기가 되었더라
22택함을 입어 문지기 된 자가 모두 이백열두 명이니 이는 그들의 마을에서 그들의 계보대로 계수된 자요 다윗과 선견자 사무엘이 전에 세워서 이 직분을 맡긴 자라
23그들과 그들의 자손이 그 순차를 좇아 여호와의 성전 곧 성막 문을 지켰는데
24이 문지기가 동, 서, 남, 북 사방에 섰고
25그들의 마을에 있는 형제들은 이레마다 와서 그들과 함께 있으니
26이는 문지기의 우두머리 된 레위 사람 넷이 중요한 직분을 맡아 하나님의 성전 모든 방과 곳간을 지켰음이라
27그들은 하나님의 성전을 맡은 직분이 있으므로 성전 주위에서 밤을 지내며 아침마다 문을 여는 책임이 그들에게 있었더라
28그 중에 어떤 자는 섬기는 데 쓰는 기구를 맡아서 그 수효대로 들여가고 수효대로 내오며
29또 어떤 자는 성소의 기구와 모든 그릇과 고운 가루와 포도주와 기름과 유향과 향품을 맡았으며
30또 제사장의 아들 중의 어떤 자는 향품으로 향기름을 만들었으며
31고라 자손 살룸의 맏아들 맛디댜라 하는 레위 사람은 전병을 굽는 일을 맡았으며
32또 그의 형제 그핫 자손 중에 어떤 자는 진설하는 떡을 맡아 안식일마다 준비하였더라
33또 찬송하는 자가 있으니 곧 레위 우두머리라 그들은 골방에 거주하면서 주야로 자기 직분에 전념하므로 다른 일은 하지 아니하였더라
34그들은 다 레위 가문의 우두머리이며 그들의 족보의 우두머리로서 예루살렘에 거주하였더라
35기브온의 조상 여이엘은 기브온에 거주하였으니 그의 아내의 이름은 마아가라
36그의 맏아들은 압돈이요 다음은 술과 기스와 바알과 넬과 나답과
37그돌과 아히오와 스가랴와 미글롯이며
38미글롯은 시므암을 낳았으니 그들은 그들의 친족들과 더불어 마주하고 예루살렘에 거주하였더라
39넬은 기스를 낳고 기스는 사울을 낳고 사울은 요나단과 말기수아와 아비나답과 에스바알을 낳았으며
40요나단의 아들은 므립바알이라 므립바알은 미가를 낳았고
41미가의 아들들은 비돈과 멜렉과 다레아와 아하스이며
42아하스는 야라를 낳고 야라는 알레멧과 아스마웻과 시므리를 낳고 시므리는 모사를 낳고
43모사는 비느아를 낳았으며 비느아의 아들은 르바야요 그의 아들은 엘르아사요 그의 아들은 아셀이며
44아셀이 여섯 아들이 있으니 그들의 이름은 아스리감과 보그루와 이스마엘과 스아랴와 오바댜와 하난이라 아셀의 아들들이 이러하였더라
