1This is the account of the family of Aaron and Moses at the time the LORD talked with Moses on Mount Sinai. |
1וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה וְאֶל־אַהֲרֹן לֵאמֹר׃ |
|
2The names of the sons of Aaron were Nadab the firstborn and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. |
2אִישׁ עַל־דִּגְלֹו בְאֹתֹת לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם יַחֲנוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִנֶּגֶד סָבִיב לְאֹהֶל־מֹועֵד יַחֲנוּ׃ |

3Those were the names of Aaron's sons, the anointed priests, who were ordained to serve as priests. |
3וְהַחֹנִים קֵדְמָה מִזְרָחָה דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה יְהוּדָה לְצִבְאֹתָם וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי יְהוּדָה נַחְשֹׁון בֶּן־עַמִּינָדָב׃ |
|
4Nadab and Abihu, however, fell dead before the LORD when they made an offering with unauthorized fire before him in the Desert of Sinai. They had no sons; so only Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests during the lifetime of their father Aaron. |
4וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם אַרְבָּעָה וְשִׁבְעִים אֶלֶף וְשֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות׃ |

5The LORD said to Moses, |
5וְהַחֹנִים עָלָיו מַטֵּה יִשָּׂשכָר וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי יִשָּׂשכָר נְתַנְאֵל בֶּן־צוּעָר׃ |
|
6'Bring the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him. |
6וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדָיו אַרְבָּעָה וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וְאַרְבַּע מֵאֹות׃ ס |
|
7They are to perform duties for him and for the whole community at the Tent of Meeting by doing the work of the tabernacle. |
7מַטֵּה זְבוּלֻן וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי זְבוּלֻן אֱלִיאָב בֶּן־חֵלֹן׃ |
|
8They are to take care of all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, fulfilling the obligations of the Israelites by doing the work of the tabernacle. |
8וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדָיו שִׁבְעָה וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וְאַרְבַּע מֵאֹות׃ |

9Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; they are the Israelites who are to be given wholly to him. |
9כָּל־הַפְּקֻדִים לְמַחֲנֵה יְהוּדָה מְאַת אֶלֶף וּשְׁמֹנִים אֶלֶף וְשֵׁשֶׁת־אֲלָפִים וְאַרְבַּע־מֵאֹות לְצִבְאֹתָם רִאשֹׁנָה יִסָּעוּ׃ ס |

10Appoint Aaron and his sons to serve as priests; anyone else who approaches the sanctuary must be put to death.' |
10דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה רְאוּבֵן תֵּימָנָה לְצִבְאֹתָם וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי רְאוּבֵן אֱלִיצוּר בֶּן־שְׁדֵיאוּר׃ |

11The LORD also said to Moses, |
11וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדָיו שִׁשָּׁה וְאַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות׃ |
|
12'I have taken the Levites from among the Israelites in place of the first male offspring of every Israelite woman. The Levites are mine, |
12וְהַחֹונִם עָלָיו מַטֵּה שִׁמְעֹון וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי שִׁמְעֹון שְׁלֻמִיאֵל בֶּן־צוּרִי־שַׁדָּי׃ |

13for all the firstborn are mine. When I struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, I set apart for myself every firstborn in Israel, whether man or animal. They are to be mine. I am the LORD.' |
13וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם תִּשְׁעָה וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשׁ מֵאֹות׃ |

14The LORD said to Moses in the Desert of Sinai, |
14וְמַטֵּה גָּד וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי גָד אֶלְיָסָף בֶּן־רְעוּאֵל׃ |
|
15'Count the Levites by their families and clans. Count every male a month old or more.' |
15וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם חֲמִשָּׁה וְאַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וְשֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות וַחֲמִשִּׁים׃ |
|
16So Moses counted them, as he was commanded by the word of the LORD. |
16כָּל־הַפְּקֻדִים לְמַחֲנֵה רְאוּבֵן מְאַת אֶלֶף וְאֶחָד וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וְאַרְבַּע־מֵאֹות וַחֲמִשִּׁים לְצִבְאֹתָם וּשְׁנִיִּם יִסָּעוּ׃ ס |
|
17These were the names of the sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath and Merari. |
17וְנָסַע אֹהֶל־מֹועֵד מַחֲנֵה הַלְוִיִּם בְּתֹוךְ הַמַּחֲנֹת כַּאֲשֶׁר יַחֲנוּ כֵּן יִסָּעוּ אִישׁ עַל־יָדֹו לְדִגְלֵיהֶם׃ ס |
|
18These were the names of the Gershonite clans: Libni and Shimei. |
18דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה אֶפְרַיִם לְצִבְאֹתָם יָמָּה וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם אֱלִישָׁמָע בֶּן־עַמִּיהוּד׃ |
|
19The Kohathite clans: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. |
19וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם אַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות׃ |
|
20The Merarite clans: Mahli and Mushi. These were the Levite clans, according to their families. |
20וְעָלָיו מַטֵּה מְנַשֶּׁה וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי מְנַשֶּׁה גַּמְלִיאֵל בֶּן־פְּדָהצוּר׃ |
|
21To Gershon belonged the clans of the Libnites and Shimeites; these were the Gershonite clans. |
21וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁנַיִם וּשְׁלֹשִׁים אֶלֶף וּמָאתָיִם׃ |
|
22The number of all the males a month old or more who were counted was 7,500. |
22וּמַטֵּה בִּנְיָמִן וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי בִנְיָמִן אֲבִידָן בֶּן־גִּדְעֹנִי׃ |
|
23The Gershonite clans were to camp on the west, behind the tabernacle. |
23וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם חֲמִשָּׁה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים אֶלֶף וְאַרְבַּע מֵאֹות׃ |
|
24The leader of the families of the Gershonites was Eliasaph son of Lael. |
24כָּל־הַפְּקֻדִים לְמַחֲנֵה אֶפְרַיִם מְאַת אֶלֶף וּשְׁמֹנַת־אֲלָפִים וּמֵאָה לְצִבְאֹתָם וּשְׁלִשִׁים יִסָּעוּ׃ ס |

25At the Tent of Meeting the Gershonites were responsible for the care of the tabernacle and tent, its coverings, the curtain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, |
25דֶּגֶל מַחֲנֵה דָן צָפֹנָה לְצִבְאֹתָם וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי דָן אֲחִיעֶזֶר בֶּן־עַמִּישַׁדָּי׃ |
|
26the curtains of the courtyard, the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard surrounding the tabernacle and altar, and the ropes-and everything related to their use. |
26וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁנַיִם וְשִׁשִּׁים אֶלֶף וּשְׁבַע מֵאֹות׃ |
|
27To Kohath belonged the clans of the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites and Uzzielites; these were the Kohathite clans. |
27וְהַחֹנִים עָלָיו מַטֵּה אָשֵׁר וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי אָשֵׁר פַּגְעִיאֵל בֶּן־עָכְרָן׃ |
|
28The number of all the males a month old or more was 8,600. The Kohathites were responsible for the care of the sanctuary. |
28וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם אֶחָד וְאַרְבָּעִים אֶלֶף וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות׃ |
|
29The Kohathite clans were to camp on the south side of the tabernacle. |
29וּמַטֵּה נַפְתָּלִי וְנָשִׂיא לִבְנֵי נַפְתָּלִי אֲחִירַע בֶּן־עֵיןָן׃ |
|
30The leader of the families of the Kohathite clans was Elizaphan son of Uzziel. |
30וּצְבָאֹו וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁלֹשָׁה וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וְאַרְבַּע מֵאֹות׃ |
|
31They were responsible for the care of the ark, the table, the lampstand, the altars, the articles of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain, and everything related to their use. |
31כָּל־הַפְּקֻדִים לְמַחֲנֵה דָן מְאַת אֶלֶף וְשִׁבְעָה וַחֲמִשִּׁים אֶלֶף וְשֵׁשׁ מֵאֹות לָאַחֲרֹנָה יִסְעוּ לְדִגְלֵיהֶם׃ ף |
|
32The chief leader of the Levites was Eleazar son of Aaron, the priest. He was appointed over those who were responsible for the care of the sanctuary. |
32אֵלֶּה פְּקוּדֵי בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם כָּל־פְּקוּדֵי הַמַּחֲנֹת לְצִבְאֹתָם שֵׁשׁ־מֵאֹות אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשֶׁת אֲלָפִים וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֹות וַחֲמִשִּׁים׃ |
|
33To Merari belonged the clans of the Mahlites and the Mushites; these were the Merarite clans. |
33וְהַלְוִיִּם לֹא הָתְפָּקְדוּ בְּתֹוךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃ |
|
34The number of all the males a month old or more who were counted was 6,200. |
34וַיַּעֲשׂוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה כֵּן־חָנוּ לְדִגְלֵיהֶם וְכֵן נָסָעוּ אִישׁ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָיו עַל־בֵּית אֲבֹתָיו׃ |
|
35The leader of the families of the Merarite clans was Zuriel son of Abihail; they were to camp on the north side of the tabernacle. |
|
|
36The Merarites were appointed to take care of the frames of the tabernacle, its crossbars, posts, bases, all its equipment, and everything related to their use, |
|
|
37as well as the posts of the surrounding courtyard with their bases, tent pegs and ropes. |
|
|
38Moses and Aaron and his sons were to camp to the east of the tabernacle, toward the sunrise, in front of the Tent of Meeting. They were responsible for the care of the sanctuary on behalf of the Israelites. Anyone else who approached the sanctuary was to be put to death. |
|
|
39The total number of Levites counted at the LORD's command by Moses and Aaron according to their clans, including every male a month old or more, was 22,000. |
|
|
40The LORD said to Moses, "Count all the firstborn Israelite males who are a month old or more and make a list of their names. |
|
|
41Take the Levites for me in place of all the firstborn of the Israelites, and the livestock of the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the livestock of the Israelites. I am the LORD.' |
|
|
42So Moses counted all the firstborn of the Israelites, as the LORD commanded him. |
|
|
43The total number of firstborn males a month old or more, listed by name, was 22,273. |
|
|
44The LORD also said to Moses, |
|
|
45'Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock. The Levites are to be mine. I am the LORD. |
|
|
46To redeem the 273 firstborn Israelites who exceed the number of the Levites, |
|
|
47collect five shekels for each one, according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. |
|
|
48Give the money for the redemption of the additional Israelites to Aaron and his sons.' |
|
|
49So Moses collected the redemption money from those who exceeded the number redeemed by the Levites. |
|
|
50From the firstborn of the Israelites he collected silver weighing 1,365 shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel. |
|
|
51Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and his sons, as he was commanded by the word of the LORD. |
1여호와께서 시내 산에서 모세에게 말씀하셨을 당시 아론과 모세의 족보는 이러합니다.
2아론에게는 네 아들이 있습니다. 맏아들은 나답이고, 그 아래로 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말입니다.
3이것이 아론의 아들들의 이름입니다. 그들은 기름부음을 받고, 제사장으로 임명되었습니다.
4그러나 나답과 아비후는 여호와 앞에서 죄를 지어 죽고 말았습니다. 그들은 시내 광야에서 잘못된 불을 여호와께 제물로 바쳤습니다. 그들에게는 아들이 없었습니다. 그래서 아버지인 아론을 도와 엘르아살과 이다말이 제사장으로 일했습니다.
5여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
6"레위 지파를 제사장 아론에게 데려가거라. 레위 지파는 아론을 도와라.
7레위 지파에게 회막 앞에서 아론의 일과 모든 이스라엘 백성의 일을 돕게 하여라.
8그들에게 회막의 모든 기구들을 관리하게 하고, 회막의 일을 돌보며, 이스라엘 백성의 일을 보살피게 하여라.
9레위 사람을 아론과 그의 아들들에게 맡겨라. 모든 이스라엘 백성 가운데 레위 사람은 아론에게 완전히 맡겨진 사람들이다.
10그러나 너는 아론과 그의 아들들만을 제사장으로 임명하여라. 다른 사람이 거룩한 것에 가까이 하면 죽게 될 것이다."
11여호와께서 또 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
12"나는 이스라엘 백성 가운데 레위 사람을 뽑아서 그들로 이스라엘의 모든 맏아들을 대신하게 했다. 레위 사람은 내 것이다.
13처음 태어난 것은 다 내 것이기 때문이다. 너희가 이집트에 있을 때, 나는 이집트 백성의 처음 태어난 아이를 다 죽이고, 이스라엘의 처음 태어난 것은 구별하여 다 내 것으로 삼았다. 사람이든 짐승이든 처음 태어난 것은 내 것이다. 나는 여호와니라."
14여호와께서 또다시 시내 광야에서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
15"레위 사람을 가족별로, 그리고 집안별로 세어라. 태어난 지 한 달 이상 된 남자를 다 세어라."
16그래서 모세는 여호와의 말씀에 복종하여 레위 사람을 세었습니다.
17레위에게는 세 아들이 있었습니다. 그 아들들의 이름은 게르손과 고핫과 므라리입니다.
18게르손의 아들은 집안별로 립니와 시므이입니다.
19고핫의 아들은 집안별로 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘입니다.
20므라리의 아들은 집안별로 마흘리와 무시입니다. 레위 사람을 집안별로 나누면 이러합니다.
21게르손 집안에는 립니와 시므이 가족이 있습니다. 이들은 모두 게르손 집안입니다.
22게르손 집안에는 태어난 지 한 달 이상 된 남자가 모두 칠천오백 명이 있었습니다.
23게르손 집안은 서쪽, 곧 성막 뒤에 진을 쳤습니다.
24게르손 집안의 어른은 라엘의 아들 엘리아삽입니다.
25게르손 집안이 회막에서 맡은 일은 회막과 장막과 그 덮개와 회막의 휘장과
26뜰의 휘장과, 회막과 제단을 둘러싸고 있는 뜰 입구의 휘장과 그 모든 것에 쓰는 줄을 맡아 관리하는 것이었습니다.
27고핫 집안에는 아므람과 이스할과 헤브론과 웃시엘 가족이 있습니다. 이들은 모두 고핫 집안입니다.
28고핫 집안에는 태어난 지 한 달 이상 된 남자가 모두 팔천육백 명이 있었습니다. 이들은 성소를 돌보는 일을 맡았습니다.
29고핫 집안은 성막 남쪽에 진을 쳤습니다.
30고핫 집안의 어른은 웃시엘의 아들 엘리사반입니다.
31이들이 맡은 일은 언약궤와 상과 등잔대와 제단들과 성소의 연장들과 휘장을 맡아 관리하고, 이와 관계가 있는 그 밖의 모든 일을 돕는 것이었습니다.
32레위 사람의 가장 큰 어른은 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살입니다. 엘르아살은 성소를 관리하는 모든 사람들을 감독했습니다.
33므라리 집안에는 마흘리와 무시 가족이 있습니다. 이들은 모두 므라리 집안입니다.
34므라리 집안에는 태어난 지 한 달 이상 된 남자가 모두 육천이백 명이 있었습니다.
35므라리 집안의 어른은 아비하일의 아들 수리엘입니다. 므라리 집안은 성막의 북쪽에 진을 쳤습니다.
36이들이 맡은 일은 성막의 널빤지와 빗장과 기둥과 그 받침을 맡아 관리하고, 이와 관계가 있는 그 밖의 모든 일을 돕는 것이었습니다.
37그들은 또한 성막 둘레의 뜰에 있는 기둥과 그 받침, 말뚝과 줄을 관리하는 일도 맡았습니다.
38모세와 아론과 그의 아들들은 회막의 동쪽에 진을 쳤습니다. 그들은 회막 앞에 있었습니다. 그들은 이스라엘 백성을 위해 성소의 일을 맡았습니다. 하지만 다른 사람이 성소에 가까이 오면 죽었습니다.
39모세와 아론은 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 레위 사람을 세었습니다. 태어난 지 한 달 이상 된 남자는 모두 이만 이천 명이 있었습니다.
40여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다. "이스라엘 백성 가운데서 태어난 지 한 달 이상 된 맏아들을 다 세어라. 그리고 그 이름을 적어라.
41이스라엘의 모든 맏아들 대신 레위 사람을 나에게 바치고, 이스라엘의 처음 태어난 짐승 대신 레위 사람의 짐승을 나에게 바쳐라. 나는 여호와니라."
42모세는 여호와께서 명령하신 대로 했습니다. 모세는 이스라엘의 맏아들을 다 세었습니다.
43모세는 태어난 지 한 달 이상 된 맏아들의 이름을 다 적었습니다. 모세가 적은 이름은 모두 이만 이천이백칠십삼 명이었습니다.
44여호와께서 또 모세에게 말씀하셨습니다.
45"너는 이스라엘의 모든 맏아들 대신 레위 사람을 나에게 바치고, 이스라엘의 처음 태어난 짐승 대신 레위 사람의 처음 태어난 짐승을 나에게 바쳐라. 나는 여호와니라.
46그런데 이스라엘의 모든 맏아들이 레위사람보다 이백칠십삼 명이 더 많다.
47그러므로 그 이백칠십삼 명에 대해서는 한 사람에 은 오 세겔씩 받되, 성소에서 다는 무게로 달아서 받아라. 한 세겔은 이십 게라니라.
48그 은은 아론과 그의 아들들에게 주어라. 그것은 이스라엘 백성 이백칠십삼 명을 대신해서 바치는 것이다."
49그리하여 모세는 레위 사람들이 대신할 수 없는 사람들의 돈을 거두었습니다.
50모세는 이스라엘의 맏아들에게서 은을 거두었습니다. 모세는 성소에서 다는 무게로 은 천삼백육십오 세겔을 거두었습니다.
51모세는 그 은을 아론과 그의 아들들에게 주었습니다.
