1The word of the LORD came to me:	1וַיְהִי דְבַר־יְהוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹר׃
2'Son of man, this is what the Sovereign LORD says to the land of Israel: The end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.	2וְאַתָּה בֶן־אָדָם כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה לְאַדְמַת יִשְׂרָאֵל קֵץ בָּא הַקֵּץ עַל־[כ= אַרְבַּעַת] [ק= אַרְבַּע] כַּנְפֹות הָאָרֶץ׃
3The end is now upon you and I will unleash my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.	3עַתָּה הַקֵּץ עָלַיִךְ וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי אַפִּי בָּךְ וּשְׁפַטְתִּיךְ כִּדְרָכָיִךְ וְנָתַתִּי עָלַיִךְ אֵת כָּל־תֹּועֲבֹתָיִךְ׃
4I will not look on you with pity or spare you; I will surely repay you for your conduct and the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.	4וְלֹא־תָחֹוס עֵינִי עָלַיִךְ וְלֹא אֶחְמֹול כִּי דְרָכַיִךְ עָלַיִךְ אֶתֵּן וְתֹועֲבֹותַיִךְ בְּתֹוךֵךְ תִּהְיֶיןָ וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה׃ ף
5'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Disaster! An unheard-of disaster is coming.	5כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה רָעָה אַחַת רָעָה הִנֵּה בָאָה׃
6The end has come! The end has come! It has roused itself against you. It has come!	6קֵץ בָּא בָּא הַקֵּץ הֵקִיץ אֵלָיִךְ הִנֵּה בָּאָה׃
7Doom has come upon you-you who dwell in the land. The time has come, the day is near; there is panic, not joy, upon the mountains.	7בָּאָה הַצְּפִירָה אֵלֶיךָ יֹושֵׁב הָאָרֶץ בָּא הָעֵת קָרֹוב הַיֹּום מְהוּמָה וְלֹא־הֵד הָרִים׃
8I am about to pour out my wrath on you and spend my anger against you; I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.	8עַתָּה מִקָּרֹוב אֶשְׁפֹּוךְ חֲמָתִי עָלַיִךְ וְכִלֵּיתִי אַפִּי בָּךְ וּשְׁפַטְתִּיךְ כִּדְרָכָיִךְ וְנָתַתִּי עָלַיִךְ אֵת כָּל־תֹּועֲבֹותָיִךְ׃
9I will not look on you with pity or spare you; I will repay you in accordance with your conduct and the detestable practices among you. Then you will know that it is I the LORD who strikes the blow.	9וְלֹא־תָחֹוס עֵינִי וְלֹא אֶחְמֹול כִּדְרָכַיִךְ עָלַיִךְ אֶתֵּן וְתֹועֲבֹותַיִךְ בְּתֹוךֵךְ תִּהְיֶיןָ וִידַעְתֶּם כִּי אֲנִי יְהוָה מַכֶּה׃
10'The day is here! It has come! Doom has burst forth, the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed!	10הִנֵּה הַיֹּום הִנֵּה בָאָה יָצְאָה הַצְּפִרָה ץָץ הַמַּטֶּה פָּרַח הַזָּדֹון׃
11Violence has grown into a rod to punish wickedness; none of the people will be left, none of that crowd-no wealth, nothing of value.	11הֶחָמָס קָם לְמַטֵּה־רֶשַׁע לֹא־מֵהֶם וְלֹא מֵהֲמֹונָם וְלֹא מֶהֱמֵהֶם וְלֹא־נֹהַּ בָּהֶם׃
12The time has come, the day has arrived. Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller grieve, for wrath is upon the whole crowd.	12בָּא הָעֵת הִגִּיעַ הַיֹּום הַקֹּונֶה אַל־יִשְׂמָח וְהַמֹּוכֵר אַל־יִתְאַבָּל כִּי חָרֹון אֶל־כָּל־הֲמֹונָהּ׃
13The seller will not recover the land he has sold as long as both of them live, for the vision concerning the whole crowd will not be reversed. Because of their sins, not one of them will preserve his life.	13כִּי הַמֹּוכֵר אֶל־הַמִּמְכָּר לֹא יָשׁוּב וְעֹוד בַּחַיִּים חַיָּתָם כִּי־חָזֹון אֶל־כָּל־הֲמֹונָהּ לֹא יָשׁוּב וְאִישׁ בַּעֲוֹנֹו חַיָּתֹו לֹא יִתְחַזָּקוּ׃
14Though they blow the trumpet and get everything ready, no one will go into battle, for my wrath is upon the whole crowd.	14תָּקְעוּ בַתָּקֹועַ וְהָכִין הַכֹּל וְאֵין הֹלֵךְ לַמִּלְחָמָה כִּי חֲרֹונִי אֶל־כָּל־הֲמֹונָהּ׃
15'Outside is the sword, inside are plague and famine; those in the country will die by the sword, and those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague.	15הַחֶרֶב בַּחוּץ וְהַדֶּבֶר וְהָרָעָב מִבָּיִת אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׂדֶה בַּחֶרֶב יָמוּת וַאֲשֶׁר בָּעִיר רָעָב וָדֶבֶר יֹאכֲלֶנּוּ׃
16All who survive and escape will be in the mountains, moaning like doves of the valleys, each because of his sins.	16וּפָלְטוּ פְּלִיטֵיהֶם וְהָיוּ אֶל־הֶהָרִים כְּיֹונֵי הַגֵּאָיֹות כֻּלָּם הֹמֹות אִישׁ בַּעֲוֹנֹו׃
17Every hand will go limp, and every knee will become as weak as water.	17כָּל־הַיָּדַיִם תִּרְפֶּינָה וְכָל־בִּרְכַּיִם תֵּלַכְנָה מָּיִם׃
18They will put on sackcloth and be clothed with terror. Their faces will be covered with shame and their heads will be shaved.	18וְחָגְרוּ שַׂקִּים וְכִסְּתָה אֹותָם פַּלָּצוּת וְאֶל כָּל־פָּנִים בּוּשָׁה וּבְכָל־רָאשֵׁיהֶם קָרְחָה׃
19They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will be an unclean thing. Their silver and gold will not be able to save them in the day of the LORD's wrath. They will not satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it, for it has made them stumble into sin.	19כַּסְפָּם בַּחוּצֹות יַשְׁלִיכוּ וּזְהָבָם לְנִדָּה יִהְיֶה כַּסְפָּם וּזְהָבָם לֹא־יוּכַל לְהַצִּילָם בְּיֹום עֶבְרַת יְהוָה נַפְשָׁם לֹא יְשַׂבֵּעוּ וּמֵעֵיהֶם לֹא יְמַלֵּאוּ כִּי־מִכְשֹׁול עֲוֹנָם הָיָה׃
20They were proud of their beautiful jewelry and used it to make their detestable idols and vile images. Therefore I will turn these into an unclean thing for them.	20וּצְבִי עֶדְיֹו לְגָאֹון שָׂמָהוּ וְצַלְמֵי תֹועֲבֹתָם שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶם עָשׂוּ בֹו עַל־כֵּן נְתַתִּיו לָהֶם לְנִדָּה׃
21I will hand it all over as plunder to foreigners and as loot to the wicked of the earth, and they will defile it.	21וּנְתַתִּיו בְּיַד־הַזָּרִים לָבַז וּלְרִשְׁעֵי הָאָרֶץ לְשָׁלָל [כ= וְחִלְּלֻהָ] [ק= וְחִלְּלוּהוּ]׃
22I will turn my face away from them, and they will desecrate my treasured place; robbers will enter it and desecrate it.	22וַהֲסִבֹּותִי פָנַי מֵהֶם וְחִלְּלוּ אֶת־צְפוּנִי וּבָאוּ־בָהּ פָּרִיצִים וְחִלְּלוּהָ׃ ף
23'Prepare chains, because the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of violence.	23עֲשֵׂה הָרַתֹּוק כִּי הָאָרֶץ מָלְאָה מִשְׁפַּט דָּמִים וְהָעִיר מָלְאָה חָמָס׃
24I will bring the most wicked of the nations to take possession of their houses; I will put an end to the pride of the mighty, and their sanctuaries will be desecrated.	24וְהֵבֵאתִי רָעֵי גֹויִם וְיָרְשׁוּ אֶת־בָּתֵּיהֶם וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי גְּאֹון עַזִּים וְנִחֲלוּ מְקַדְשֵׁיהֶם׃
25When terror comes, they will seek peace, but there will be none.	25קְפָדָה־בָא וּבִקְשׁוּ שָׁלֹום וָאָיִן׃
26Calamity upon calamity will come, and rumor upon rumor. They will try to get a vision from the prophet; the teaching of the law by the priest will be lost, as will the counsel of the elders.	26הֹוָה עַל־הֹוָה תָּבֹוא וּשְׁמֻעָה אֶל־שְׁמוּעָה תִּהְיֶה וּבִקְשׁוּ חָזֹון מִנָּבִיא וְתֹורָה תֹּאבַד מִכֹּהֵן וְעֵצָה מִזְּקֵנִים׃
27The king will mourn, the prince will be clothed with despair, and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'	27הַמֶּלֶךְ יִתְאַבָּל וְנָשִׂיא יִלְבַּשׁ שְׁמָמָה וִידֵי עַם־הָאָרֶץ תִּבָּהַלְנָה מִדַּרְכָּם אֶעֱשֶׂה אֹותָם וּבְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶם אֶשְׁפְּטֵם וְיָדְעוּ כִּי־אֲנִי יְהוָה׃ ף

1여호와께서 다시 내게 말씀하셨다.

2"사람아, 주 여호와가 이스라엘 땅에 대하여 이렇게 말하노라. 끝이 왔다! 이 땅에 종말이 왔다.

3너희에게 종말이 왔으니 내 분노를 쏟아 붓고 너희가 한 행동에 따라 심판하겠다. 너희가 저지른 역겨운 행동들에 대해 갚아 주겠다.

4너희를 더 이상 불쌍히 여기거나 봐 주지 않겠다. 너희가 행동한 대로 반드시 갚아 주고 너희가 저지른 역겨운 짓을 심판하겠다. 그 때에 너희는 내가 여호와라는 것을 알게 될 것이다."

5주 여호와께서 말씀하시기를, "재앙이다! 무서운 재앙이 닥쳐온다.

6종말이 왔다! 종말이 왔다! 너희는 끝장이다! 종말이 왔다!

7불행이 너희에게 닥쳤다. 불행의 날이 가까이 다가왔다. 기쁨 대신에 비명 소리가 산 위에서 들려올 것이다.

8내가 분노를 너희 위에 쏟아 부을 것이며, 너희에 대해 크게 화를 낼 것이다. 너희가 한 행동에 따라 심판하고 너희가 저지른 역겨운 행동들에 대해 갚아 주겠다.

9더 이상 너희를 불쌍히 여기거나 봐 주지 않고 너희가 한 행동에 따라 갚겠다. 너희들 가운데 저지른 역겨운 행동들에 대해 반드시 심판할 것이다. 그 때에 너희를 치는 이가 나 여호와라는 것을 알게 될 것이다.

10보라, 마침내 그 날이 왔다. 그 날이 온 것이다. 재앙에 잎이 나고, 심판의 막대기에 싹이 트고, 오만함이 무성하게 되었구나.

11폭력이 난무하자 심판의 막대기가 악한 자들을 내리친다. 이 백성 가운데 살아남을 사람이 없을 것이니 사람도, 재물도, 귀중품도 하나도 남지 않을 것이다.

12때가 되었고 그 날이 왔다. 무엇을 샀다고 기뻐하지 말고 팔았다고 서운해하지 마라. 내 분노가 모든 사람들에게 내리기 때문이다.

13땅을 사고 판 사람은 그들이 살아 있는 동안, 땅을 무를 수 없을 것이다. 모든 백성에게 보여 준 환상은 돌이킬 수 없기 때문이다. 그들은 죄 때문에 아무도 제 목숨을 보존하지 못할 것이다.

14나팔을 불고 전쟁 준비를 다 마쳤어도 아무도 전쟁에 나갈 수 없을 것이니 이는 내 분노를 모든 백성에게 쏟았기 때문이다.

15성 밖에는 칼이 있고, 성 안에는 질병과 굶주림이 있으니 들에 있는 사람은 칼에 맞아 죽고, 성 안에 있는 사람은 굶주림과 전염병으로 죽을 것이다.

16살아남아 피한 사람들은 모두 산 위에서 골짜기의 비둘기처럼 구슬프게 울 것이다. 자기들이 지은 죄 때문에 탄식할 것이다.

17손에 힘이 빠지고 무릎이 물처럼 흐느적댈 것이다.

18그들이 두려워 떨며 굵은 베옷을 걸칠 것이다. 사람마다 수치를 느끼고 머리마다 대머리가 될 것이다.

19은과 금을 쓰레기같이 길거리에 내던질 것이니 이는 여호와가 분노하시는 날에 금과 은이 그들을 구하지 못하기 때문이다. 또한 돈이 그들의 허기진 배를 채우지도 못할 것이다. 오히려 그것들이 그들을 죄에 빠뜨렸다.

20그들은 아름다운 보석을 자랑하였고 그것으로 주님이 미워하시는 우상과 더러운 형상들을 만들었다. 그러므로 내가 그것들을 혐오스러운 것이 되게 할 것이다.

21그리고 그것을 적국에게 전리품으로 주고 세상의 악한 사람들에게 약탈품으로 주어 더럽히게 할 것이다.

22그들이 내 은밀한 처소를 더럽히고 도둑들이 들어와 그 곳을 더럽혀도 이스라엘 백성에게서 내 얼굴을 돌이킬 것이다.

23너는 쇠사슬을 만들어라. 이 땅에는 사람을 죽이는 일이 흔하고, 마을은 폭력으로 가득하다.

24그러므로 내가 가장 악독한 나라들을 불러와 이 땅 백성의 집들과 재산들을 차지하도록 하겠고 부자들의 교만을 꺾으며 그들의 신당을 더럽힐 것이다.

25재앙을 당하였을 때, 평안을 바라지만, 평안은 없을 것이다.

26재앙에 재앙이 잇따르며 소문에 소문이 꼬리를 물 때, 그들이 예언자에게서 계시를 구하지만 소용이 없을 것이다. 제사장에게서 하나님의 가르침이 끊어지고, 장로들에게서 지혜가 사라질 것이다.

27왕이 통곡할 것이며 신하들은 절망의 옷을 입으며, 백성들의 손은 두려움에 떨 것이다. 그들이 저지른 죄악대로 내가 그들을 심판하겠으며 그들이 한 행위대로 갚을 것이다. 그 때에 그들은 내가 여호와라는 것을 알게 될 것이다."
