1Then the man brought me back to the outer gate of the sanctuary, the one facing east, and it was shut.
1וַיָּשֶׁב אֹתִי דֶּרֶךְ שַׁעַר הַמִּקְדָּשׁ הַחִיצֹון הַפֹּנֶה קָדִים וְהוּא סָגוּר׃
2The LORD said to me, 'This gate is to remain shut. It must not be opened; no one may enter through it. It is to remain shut because the LORD, the God of Israel, has entered through it.
2וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי יְהוָה הַשַּׁעַר הַזֶּה סָגוּר יִהְיֶה לֹא יִפָּתֵחַ וְאִישׁ לֹא־יָבֹא בֹו כִּי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּא בֹו וְהָיָה סָגוּר׃
3The prince himself is the only one who may sit inside the gateway to eat in the presence of the LORD. He is to enter by way of the portico of the gateway and go out the same way.'
3אֶת־הַנָּשִׂיא נָשִׂיא הוּא יֵשֶׁב־בֹּו [כ= לֶאֱכֹול] [ק= לֶאֱכָל]־לֶחֶם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה מִדֶּרֶךְ אֻלָם הַשַּׁעַר יָבֹוא וּמִדַּרְכֹּו יֵצֵא׃
4Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked and saw the glory of the LORD filling the temple of the LORD, and I fell facedown.
4וַיְבִיאֵנִי דֶּרֶךְ־שַׁעַר הַצָּפֹון אֶל־פְּנֵי הַבַּיִת וָאֵרֶא וְהִנֵּה מָלֵא כְבֹוד־יְהוָה אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה וָאֶפֹּל אֶל־פָּנָי׃
5The LORD said to me, 'Son of man, look carefully, listen closely and give attention to everything I tell you concerning all the regulations regarding the temple of the LORD. Give attention to the entrance of the temple and all the exits of the sanctuary.
5וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי יְהֹוָה בֶּן־אָדָם שִׂים לִבְּךָ וּרְאֵה בְעֵינֶיךָ וּבְאָזְנֶיךָ שְּׁמָע אֵת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי מְדַבֵּר אֹתָךְ לְכָל־חֻקֹּות בֵּית־יְהוָה וּלְכָל־[כ= תֹּורֹתֹו] [ק= תֹּורֹתָיו] וְשַׂמְתָּ לִבְּךָ לִמְבֹוא הַבַּיִת בְּכֹל מֹוצָאֵי הַמִּקְדָּשׁ׃
6Say to the rebellious house of Israel, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Enough of your detestable practices, O house of Israel!
6וְאָמַרְתָּ אֶל־מֶרִי אֶל־בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל כֹּה אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה רַב־לָכֶם מִכָּל־תֹּועֲבֹותֵיכֶם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
7In addition to all your other detestable practices, you brought foreigners uncircumcised in heart and flesh into my sanctuary, desecrating my temple while you offered me food, fat and blood, and you broke my covenant.
7בַּהֲבִיאֲכֶם בְּנֵי־נֵכָר עַרְלֵי־לֵב וְעַרְלֵי בָשָׂר לִהְיֹות בְּמִקְדָּשִׁי לְחַלְּלֹו אֶת־בֵּיתִי בְּהַקְרִיבְכֶם אֶת־לַחְמִי חֵלֶב וָדָם וַיָּפֵרוּ אֶת־בְּרִיתִי אֶל כָּל־תֹּועֲבֹותֵיכֶם׃
8Instead of carrying out your duty in regard to my holy things, you put others in charge of my sanctuary.
8וְלֹא שְׁמַרְתֶּם מִשְׁמֶרֶת קָדָשָׁי וַתְּשִׂימוּן לְשֹׁמְרֵי מִשְׁמַרְתִּי בְּמִקְדָּשִׁי לָכֶם׃
9This is what the Sovereign LORD says: No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh is to enter my sanctuary, not even the foreigners who live among the Israelites.
9כֹּה־אָמַר אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה כָּל־בֶּן־נֵכָר עֶרֶל לֵב וְעֶרֶל בָּשָׂר לֹא יָבֹוא אֶל־מִקְדָּשִׁי לְכָל־בֶּן־נֵכָר אֲשֶׁר בְּתֹוךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
10" 'The Levites who went far from me when Israel went astray and who wandered from me after their idols must bear the consequences of their sin.
10כִּי אִם־הַלְוִיִּם אֲשֶׁר רָחֲקוּ מֵעָלַי בִּתְעֹות יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר תָּעוּ מֵעָלַי אַחֲרֵי גִּלּוּלֵיהֶם וְנָשְׂאוּ עֲוֹנָם׃
11They may serve in my sanctuary, having charge of the gates of the temple and serving in it; they may slaughter the burnt offerings and sacrifices for the people and stand before the people and serve them.
11וְהָיוּ בְמִקְדָּשִׁי מְשָׁרְתִים פְּקֻדֹּות אֶל־שַׁעֲרֵי הַבַּיִת וּמְשָׁרְתִים אֶת־הַבָּיִת הֵמָּה יִשְׁחֲטוּ אֶת־הָעֹלָה וְאֶת־הַזֶּבַח לָעָם וְהֵמָּה יַעַמְדוּ לִפְנֵיהֶם לְשָׁרְתָם׃
12But because they served them in the presence of their idols and made the house of Israel fall into sin, therefore I have sworn with uplifted hand that they must bear the consequences of their sin, declares the Sovereign LORD.
12יַעַן אֲשֶׁר יְשָׁרְתוּ אֹותָם לִפְנֵי גִלּוּלֵיהֶם וְהָיוּ לְבֵית־יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמִכְשֹׁול עָוֹן עַל־כֵּן נָשָׂאתִי יָדִי עֲלֵיהֶם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה וְנָשְׂאוּ עֲוֹנָם׃
13They are not to come near to serve me as priests or come near any of my holy things or my most holy offerings; they must bear the shame of their detestable practices.
13וְלֹא־יִגְּשׁוּ אֵלַי לְכַהֵן לִי וְלָגֶשֶׁת עַל־כָּל־קָדָשַׁי אֶל־קָדְשֵׁי הַקְּדָשִׁים וְנָשְׂאוּ כְּלִמָּתָם וְתֹועֲבֹותָם אֲשֶׁר עָשׂוּ׃
14Yet I will put them in charge of the duties of the temple and all the work that is to be done in it.
14וְנָתַתִּי אֹותָם שֹׁמְרֵי מִשְׁמֶרֶת הַבָּיִת לְכֹל עֲבֹדָתֹו וּלְכֹל אֲשֶׁר יֵעָשֶׂה בֹּו׃ ף
15" 'But the priests, who are Levites and descendants of Zadok and who faithfully carried out the duties of my sanctuary when the Israelites went astray from me, are to come near to minister before me; they are to stand before me to offer sacrifices of fat and blood, declares the Sovereign LORD.
15וְהַכֹּהֲנִים הַלְוִיִּם בְּנֵי צָדֹוק אֲשֶׁר שָׁמְרוּ אֶת־מִשְׁמֶרֶת מִקְדָּשִׁי בִּתְעֹות בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעָלַי הֵמָּה יִקְרְבוּ אֵלַי לְשָׁרְתֵנִי וְעָמְדוּ לְפָנַי לְהַקְרִיב לִי חֵלֶב וָדָם נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃
16They alone are to enter my sanctuary; they alone are to come near my table to minister before me and perform my service.
16הֵמָּה יָבֹאוּ אֶל־מִקְדָּשִׁי וְהֵמָּה יִקְרְבוּ אֶל־שֻׁלְחָנִי לְשָׁרְתֵנִי וְשָׁמְרוּ אֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתִּי׃
17" 'When they enter the gates of the inner court, they are to wear linen clothes; they must not wear any woolen garment while ministering at the gates of the inner court or inside the temple.
17וְהָיָה בְּבֹואָם אֶל־שַׁעֲרֵי הֶחָצֵר הַפְּנִימִית בִּגְדֵי פִשְׁתִּים יִלְבָּשׁוּ וְלֹא־יַעֲלֶה עֲלֵיהֶם צֶמֶר בְּשָׁרְתָם בְּשַׁעֲרֵי הֶחָצֵר הַפְּנִימִית וָבָיְתָה׃
18They are to wear linen turbans on their heads and linen undergarments around their waists. They must not wear anything that makes them perspire.
18פַּאֲרֵי פִשְׁתִּים יִהְיוּ עַל־רֹאשָׁם וּמִכְנְסֵי פִשְׁתִּים יִהְיוּ עַל־מָתְנֵיהֶם לֹא יַחְגְּרוּ בַּיָּזַע׃
19When they go out into the outer court where the people are, they are to take off the clothes they have been ministering in and are to leave them in the sacred rooms, and put on other clothes, so that they do not consecrate the people by means of their garments.
19וּבְצֵאתָם אֶל־הֶחָצֵר הַחִיצֹונָה אֶל־הֶחָצֵר הַחִיצֹונָה אֶל־הָעָם יִפְשְׁטוּ אֶת־בִּגְדֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר־הֵמָּה מְשָׁרְתִם בָּם וְהִנִּיחוּ אֹותָם בְּלִשְׁכֹת הַקֹּדֶשׁ וְלָבְשׁוּ בְּגָדִים אֲחֵרִים וְלֹא־יְקַדְּשׁוּ אֶת־הָעָם בְּבִגְדֵיהֶם׃
20" 'They must not shave their heads or let their hair grow long, but they are to keep the hair of their heads trimmed.
20וְרֹאשָׁם לֹא יְגַלֵּחוּ וּפֶרַע לֹא יְשַׁלֵּחוּ כָּסֹום יִכְסְמוּ אֶת־רָאשֵׁיהֶם׃
21No priest is to drink wine when he enters the inner court.
21וְיַיִן לֹא־יִשְׁתּוּ כָּל־כֹּהֵן בְּבֹואָם אֶל־הֶחָצֵר הַפְּנִימִית׃
22They must not marry widows or divorced women; they may marry only virgins of Israelite descent or widows of priests.
22וְאַלְמָנָה וּגְרוּשָׁה לֹא־יִקְחוּ לָהֶם לְנָשִׁים כִּי אִם־בְּתוּלֹת מִזֶּרַע בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהָאַלְמָנָה אֲשֶׁר תִּהְיֶה אַלְמָנָה מִכֹּהֵן יִקָּחוּ׃
23They are to teach my people the difference between the holy and the common and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.
23וְאֶת־עַמִּי יֹורוּ בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחֹל וּבֵין־טָמֵא לְטָהֹור יֹודִעֻם׃
24" 'In any dispute, the priests are to serve as judges and decide it according to my ordinances. They are to keep my laws and my decrees for all my appointed feasts, and they are to keep my Sabbaths holy.
24וְעַל־רִיב הֵמָּה יַעַמְדוּ [כ= לִשְׁפֹּט] [ק= לְמִשְׁפָּט] בְּמִשְׁפָּטַי [כ= וּשָׁפְטֻהוּ] [ק= יִשְׁפְּטוּהוּ*] וְאֶת־תֹּורֹתַי וְאֶת־חֻקֹּתַי בְּכָל־מֹועֲדַי יִשְׁמֹרוּ וְאֶת־שַׁבְּתֹותַי יְקַדֵּשׁוּ׃
25" 'A priest must not defile himself by going near a dead person; however, if the dead person was his father or mother, son or daughter, brother or unmarried sister, then he may defile himself.
25וְאֶל־מֵת אָדָם לֹא יָבֹוא לְטָמְאָה כִּי אִם־לְאָב וּלְאֵם וּלְבֵן וּלְבַת לְאָח וּלְאָחֹות אֲשֶׁר־לֹא־הָיְתָה לְאִישׁ יִטַּמָּאוּ׃
26After he is cleansed, he must wait seven days.
26וְאַחֲרֵי טָהֳרָתֹו שִׁבְעַת יָמִים יִסְפְּרוּ־לֹו׃
27On the day he goes into the inner court of the sanctuary to minister in the sanctuary, he is to offer a sin offering for himself, declares the Sovereign LORD.
27וּבְיֹום בֹּאֹו אֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁ אֶל־הֶחָצֵר הַפְּנִימִית לְשָׁרֵת בַּקֹּדֶשׁ יַקְרִיב חַטָּאתֹו נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה׃
28" 'I am to be the only inheritance the priests have. You are to give them no possession in Israel; I will be their possession.
28וְהָיְתָה לָהֶם לְנַחֲלָה אֲנִי נַחֲלָתָם וַאֲחֻזָּה לֹא־תִתְּנוּ לָהֶם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲנִי אֲחֻזָּתָם׃
29They will eat the grain offerings, the sin offerings and the guilt offerings; and everything in Israel devoted to the LORD will belong to them.
29הַמִּנְחָה וְהַחַטָּאת וְהָאָשָׁם הֵמָּה יֹאכְלוּם וְכָל־חֵרֶם בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל לָהֶם יִהְיֶה׃
30The best of all the firstfruits and of all your special gifts will belong to the priests. You are to give them the first portion of your ground meal so that a blessing may rest on your household.
30וְרֵאשִׁית כָּל־בִּכּוּרֵי כֹל וְכָל־תְּרוּמַת כֹּל מִכֹּל תְּרוּמֹותֵיכֶם לַכֹּהֲנִים יִהְיֶה וְרֵאשִׁית עֲרִסֹותֵיכֶם תִּתְּנוּ לַכֹּהֵן לְהָנִיחַ בְּרָכָה אֶל־בֵּיתֶךָ׃
31The priests must not eat anything, bird or animal, found dead or torn by wild animals.
31כָּל־נְבֵלָה וּטְרֵפָה מִן־הָעֹוף וּמִן־הַבְּהֵמָה לֹא יֹאכְלוּ הַכֹּהֲנִים׃ ף
1그 사람이 나를 데리고 성소 바깥 동쪽 문으로 데려갔는데, 그 문은 닫혀 있었다.
2여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다. "이 문은 닫아 놓아야 하며 열어서는 안 된다. 아무도 이 문으로 들어가서는 안 된다. 이스라엘 하나님, 나 여호와가 이 문으로 들어왔기 때문에 이 문은 닫아 두어야 한다.
3오직 왕만 문 안에 앉아 여호와 앞에서 음식을 먹을 수 있다. 왕은 현관 문으로 들어오고 반드시 그리로 나가야 한다."
4그후에 그 사람이 나를 데리고 바깥 북쪽 문을 지나 성전 앞으로 갔다. 그 곳에서 내가 보니, 여호와의 영광이 여호와의 성전에 가득 차 있었다. 그래서 나는 얼굴을 땅에 대고 엎드렸다.
5여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다. "사람아, 여호와의 성전에 관한 모든 규례와 법을 말해 주겠으니, 주의를 기울이고 잘 들어라. 성전으로 들어가는 입구와 성소에서 나오는 출구들을 잘 보아 두어라.
6너는 반역하는 이스라엘 백성들에게 말하여라. '주 여호와께서 이렇게 말씀하신다. 이스라엘아! 이제 너희의 모든 역겨운 짓들을 그만하여라.
7너희는 마음과 몸에 할례를 받지 않은 외국인들을 내 성소에 데려왔고, 음식과 기름과 피를 내게 바칠 때, 그들을 성소에 있게 하여 내 성전을 더럽히고 내 언약을 깨뜨렸다.
8또 너희는 내 거룩한 물건인 성물을 함부로 다루었다. 그것들을 다루어서는 안 될 사람들에게 너희의 의무를 맡겼다.
9몸과 마음에 할례를 받지 않은 외국인들은 내 성소에 들어올 수 없다. 심지어 이스라엘 백성 가운데 사는 외국인들도 들어올 수 없다.'
10이스라엘이 나를 버리고 우상을 따를 때에 레위 사람들도 내게서 떠났기 때문에 레위 사람들은 그들이 저지른 죄의 책임을 지고 심판을 받아야 한다.
11그들은 내 성소에서 성전 문들을 지키고 성전 안에서 일을 하였다. 백성들이 바치는 태워 드리는 번제물이나 그 밖의 제물을 잡고 백성 앞에 서서 시중을 들었다.
12그러나 그들은 백성들이 우상을 섬기는 것을 도왔고, 이스라엘 백성이 죄를 짓게 하였으므로 그들의 지은 죄의 책임을 면치 못할 것이다.
13그들은 제사장으로서 내게 나아와 나를 섬기지 못할 것이며, 나의 거룩한 물건인 성물들이나 가장 거룩한 제물인 지성물에도 접근하지 못할 것이다. 그들이 저지른 모든 역겨운 짓 때문에 그들은 부끄러움을 당할 것이다.
14그래도 나는 그들에게 성전을 돌보는 일과 그 안에서 이루어지는 일들을 맡길 것이다.
15이스라엘이 나를 버렸을 때에 레위 사람 중 사독의 자손인 제사장들은, 성소의 모든 규정들을 성실하게 수행하였기 때문에, 내게 가까이 나아와 나를 섬기게 될 것이다. 그들은 내 앞에서 기름과 희생 제물의 피를 바칠 수 있을 것이다.
16그들만이 내 성소에 들어올 수 있으며 그들만이 내 상에 가까이 와서 나를 섬기고 내가 맡긴 일들을 수행할 수 있을 것이다.
17안뜰 문으로 들어올 때, 제사장들은 반드시 모시옷을 입어야 한다. 안뜰 문이나 성전 안에서 주님을 섬길 때에는 양털 옷을 입지 말아야 한다.
18머리에는 모시 관을 써야 하며, 모시 바지를 입어야 한다. 땀이 나는 것은 입지 말아야 한다.
19그들이 백성들이 있는 바깥뜰로 나갈 때는 나를 섬길 때 입던 옷을 벗어서 구별된 방에 두고 다른 옷으로 갈아 입고 나가야 한다. 그렇게 함으로써 옷 때문에 백성이 해를 당하지 않게 하여야 한다.
20제사장들은 머리털을 완전히 밀어서도 안 되고 길게 자라게 해서도 안 된다. 머리털을 적당히 알맞게 깎아야 한다.
21안뜰에 들어갈 때에 포도주를 마셔서는 안 된다.
22그들은 과부나 이혼한 여자와 결혼을 해서는 안 된다. 결혼을 하려면 이스라엘 백성 가운데서 처녀나, 다른 제사장의 아내였다가 과부가 된 여자와 결혼할 수 있다.
23제사장은 내 백성에게 거룩한 것과 그렇지 않은 것을 구별하는 방법을 가르쳐야 하며, 부정한 것과 깨끗한 것을 구별하는 방법도 일러 주어야 한다.
24만일, 사람들 사이에 다툼이 일어나면 제사장은 재판관이 되어야 한다. 그들은 판단을 내릴 때에 내 규정들을 따라야 한다. 그리고 제사장은 내 특별한 절기를 지킬 때마다 내 율법과 규례를 따라야 하며, 안식일을 거룩하게 지켜야 한다.
25제사장은 죽은 사람을 가까이하여 자기 몸을 더럽혀서는 안 된다. 그러나 죽은 사람이 친척일 때, 곧 그의 아버지나 어머니, 아들이나 딸, 형제, 그리고 결혼하지 않은 누이일 때에는 가까이할 수 있다.
26그 때, 제사장은 자기 몸을 다시 깨끗하게 한 후, 칠 일을 기다려야 한다.
27그런 뒤에 성소의 안뜰로 들어가 제사장의 임무를 수행할 때, 그는 먼저 자신을 위해 죄를 씻는 속죄 제물을 바쳐야 한다. 나 주 여호와의 말이다.
28내가 바로 제사장들의 유일한 재산이다. 너희는 이스라엘 가운데서 제사장들에게 땅을 주어 재산을 삼게 해서는 안 된다. 내가 그들의 재산이 될 것이다.
29제사장은 곡식 제물과 죄를 씻는 속죄 제물과 허물을 씻는 속건 제물을 먹을 것이며, 이스라엘이 바친 모든 것이 그들의 것이 될 것이다.
30모든 첫 수확들 가운데서 가장 좋은 것과 너희가 바치는 특별한 예물들 가운데 가장 좋은 것은 제사장 몫이다. 또한 너희의 첫 밀가루를 제사장들에게 주면 내가 너희 가정에 복을 내릴 것이다.
31제사장들은 새든지 짐승이든지, 저절로 죽은 것을 먹어서는 안 된다. 또한 들짐승들에 찢겨 죽은 것들은 무엇이든지 먹어서는 안 된다."
